This week's blog post, as always, is a weekend rush!

Even though it's not the most viewed, I still enjoy catching up on my neighbors' lives through this!

Communication may have decreased, but I still find joy in peeking into other people's lives, so I'm giving it a try.

Honestly, nothing too special happens in my mundane life.

But this week was surprisingly fun and filled with dopamine!

A Splendid Scene

Bean came to Seoul! Justin was also in Korea, so we had a get-together with Yunrini!

It was so nice to see everyone after so long. We had a great time catching up and chatting.

It was a shame everyone had other plans and had to leave early.

See you all at Justin's wedding next month!

A Splendid Scene

Then, on my way home from work... I lost one of my earbuds...

My ear felt so empty. I had a boring commute home, and as soon as I got in, I stole my brother's earbuds.

Great shot

I've been trying to look at the sky at least once a day.

When the sky is pretty on my way home, I feel so good.

But why is the weather so awful lately?!

It's so chilly, it'll probably be hot again during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).

Happy moments

The chilly weather makes me crave soup.

So, I went to eat Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup)...

But the 20,000 won Jjamppong smelled like instant ramen LOL.

As soon as it came out, everyone was like, "Isn't this just ramen?"

But it was so delicious that I ate every last bit.

I was so full that I walked all the way to Burnt Seoul...

I wasn't planning on drinking anything because I was so full, but I gave in again...

Fantastic Scenery

If I eat heavy one day, I try to eat light the next.

My idea of "light" is salmon and avocado kimbap (seaweed rice roll).

LOL. It's so "light" that I get hungry really fast after eating that kind of stuff...

Bright Future

So, unable to bear the hunger, I had a matcha latte before going to work out...

I wondered if I'd throw up while working out after drinking a matcha latte.

But it was surprisingly filling and 괜찮더라 (not bad)?

But I ended up overeating that day and had kimbap again for dinner... I'm crazy...

Mysterious figure

Ippanjju came near my office for a company lunch~~

I wanted to show them some hip Euljiro vibes, so I took them to a dessert cafe.

Is this what the kids these days are into...?

The cake was really bad, but everyone said it was delicious...

It was the first time I'd tasted such cheap cream in a long time...

Happy moments

Starbucks released a matcha glazed donut, so I tried it.

It's really not good... You can't taste the matcha very much.

It's not that different from the original, so why bother with the matcha version??

Impressive scene

I feel happiest when I walk near my office...

I try to take in as much of the distance as possible.

Seeing my favorite Namsan Tower and the sky at the same time.

Special moment

Showing my age, Part 2.

Taking pictures of pretty flowers when I pass by.

It's been so long since I've seen trumpet creepers, they're so pretty.

Impressive look

I shouldn't have been admiring the flowers...

It was supposed to rain that afternoon.....

The weather was gloomy, but I was too lazy.

I didn't bring an umbrella, so I got rained on while waiting in line..

Ugh... Luckily, it was my brother's clothes, so they were big.

I took one arm out and put the clothes over my head LOL.

Valuable experience

I couldn't take it anymore and bought an umbrella at the convenience store.

My mom and I played rock-paper-scissors to see who would buy it.

I won LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Hopeful tomorrow

We ate pork and rice soup while getting rained on!!!!!

And the table next to us was eating soy sauce noodles and pork belly slices

It looked so delicious that I ordered some too *_*..!!!!!

One bite should be enough.

I'm going to Busan to eat real pork and rice soup..!!!!!!!!

Dreamlike moment

This week's dopamine boost at my company: AirPods + Webcam

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Is this something that would actually happen in the adult world?

I was so surprised, surprised, and surprised again.

A misjudgment led to an even more absurd ending LOLOLOL

Wow... I got a dopamine rush! But it quickly fizzled out...

Peaceful landscape

And I finally opened the sake face mask pack I bought in Japan!!

How good can a wash-off pack really be....

I'll try to take care of my skin diligently. Fighting, fighting!

Amazing sight

Rage-filled Korail Chuseok reservation review ????????????

And the task of a Busan country bumpkin who came to Seoul.....

Is to book KTX tickets for the holiday season........

Korail introduced a different system than usual.

Wow- The server crashed on the first day I tried to book tickets for the Gyeongbu Line...

It was supposed to open at 7 AM sharp. I was supposed to log in beforehand.

But an error occurred... The screen didn't move for 20 minutes...

Great shot

Then, after about 30 minutes, I finally got in...

Is it real that there are a million people in front of me LOLOLOLOLOL

I almost had a heart attack because of an error along the way ㅠㅠ

Safely.. at 8:26 AM, my waiting number was 4,000.

Fun moment

So what if I log in? It just gives me errors.

You get automatically logged out after 3 minutes.

I couldn't do anything because of the crazy error.

Great shot

So, what do I do? Since 3 minutes have passed, I got kicked out.

It's my fate to get back in line.....

My waiting number was 50,000 LOLOLOLOLOL

An hour and a half after logging in... I was angry.

But I managed to make a reservation?

Of course, I got kicked out 3 times and logged back in... LOLOLOLOL

But it was worth holding my phone for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

But what's really funny is that I had to wait in line to pay

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Mysterious figure

Honestly, Korail only gets cursed twice a year.

Do you have to do this every time you make holiday reservations...? It's too much...

It would be much easier to have my parents come to Seoul with senior citizen discounts ^ㅠ^

Fantastic Scenery

Anyway, I succeeded!!! That's all!!! Bye!

Valuable experience

And of course... I have to watch the 3rd round...!!

Happy moments Fun moment Warm memories Special moment

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
