A Week in My Life: Food, Fun, and Firsts!

Hi everyone~
It's already been a week since September started!
Let's see how I spent this week.
On Tuesdays, delivery for lunch is a must...
??
Actually, the managers who order delivery included me!
Pizza and *tteokbokki* (spicy rice cakes) are especially delicious when we eat together...
I had a really fulfilling lunch.

There's a Busan-style *gukbap* (rice soup) restaurant near my office that's a Michelin-recommended 맛집 (delicious restaurant): Anmok!
Have you heard of it??
It recently opened next to our office, and the wait times are crazy.
Catch Table opens for reservations at 11 AM, so we worked for a bit and then went down to register and eat.

The restaurant is big and has a lot of seats, so people get seated pretty quickly (although tables for four take longer than tables for two).
As someone who's never been to Busan,
I was curious about Busan *gukbap*.
It doesn't have a strong smell, and the broth is clean and savory.
I recommend it!
Wednesday
I went for another sweet potato run and then had *chimaek* (chicken and beer).
There was a chicken place near Yeouinaru that appeared on Sung Si-kyung's eating show, but of course, there was a wait... so we went to the chicken place next door and it was so delicious!
The runners lost track of time talking about work.

Why are all the photos in my album of food?
I need to eat a good lunch to work hard!
Yay!
The Seoul City finally gave me my gift!
I'm so touched...
If I only get approved for *cheongyak* (housing subscription lottery), I'll live even more diligently!!
lololol
It was my mom's birthday, so I made *miyeokguk* (seaweed soup).
As a single person who cooks occasionally, *miyeokguk* is one of the easier soups to make.
I put in a lot of sincerity and love.
Mom's review:
Daughter of 효녀 (dutiful/filial daughter)
Finally, the weekend!
A day with gentle rain.
I made *golbaengi muchim* (spicy sea snail salad) for dinner.
At this point, I'm a good cook, right~~? ^^

I took a sudden day off and
went to Artist Bakery in Anguk.
Chocolate salt bread and Earl Grey salt bread?????????
Too sweet for me.
The Sanrio marathon is just around the corner,
so I was happy to unpack the things I received.
A cute hat, shirt, socks, energy bars, etc.
I'll make good use of them and complete the marathon.

I'll be back next week!
