A Week in My Life: Battling a Cold, Celebrating a Birthday, and Visiting Jeju Island
Monday, September 1st
I feel absolutely awful today. π₯
I think I'm catching a cold. π€
Ate a quick meal and then crashed. π΄
Came home to find Jamin sulking. π
I'm sorry I haven't been able to take care of you lately, Mommy's been so busy. π₯Ί
Couldn't even shower because I felt so bad, just laid down.
Finally managed to shower, then my brother bought me meat, I ate and crashed again. π©
Seriously... I'm in terrible shape. π

Tuesday, September 2nd
Went to work but had to leave early. π
So dizzy, sore throat, and fever...
Hope it's not COVID...?
Ended up getting an IV drip. π
Turns out it wasn't COVID! π
Went to a hospital near my brother's work,
Stopped by his shop for a free meal,
Then went home, took my medicine, and passed out. π
Woke up with no appetite. π
Had some rice porridge to take my medicine!
Suddenly craved bread, so I had salt bread with citron tea. π
But... I can't taste anything. π What?!

Wednesday, September 3rd
The dizziness is gone thanks to yesterday's IV!
But I still have a cough and a sore throat. π’
Worked hard! Had lunch, took my medicine, and crashed. π
Got my nails done for the first time in ages! ~~
Tried to hold out, but my nails looked so ugly...
Finally gave in. π After that, grocery shopping!!
Because! It's almost my brother's birthday. π
It was hard to grocery shop in secret,,!!
Made some side dishes at home and passed out from exhaustion. π
My brother felt bad and couldn't bring himself to wake me up. π₯Ί

His birthday is actually tomorrow!
But I have to go to Jeju Island tomorrow... γ

Watched my brother leave for work!
Ate leftovers from yesterday to take my medicine!

My dad made kimchi stew this morning~~

Became a morning person even in Jeju Island~~
Ate leftovers for breakfast!!

These 2 nights and 3 days went by so fast. γ γ
I'll be back next month, bye Jeju! π

Came home, unpacked, and passed out!

I was busy cooking and cleaning all weekend. γ γ
But I'm writing this diligently now~~
It had been 3 weeks (?) since I went to my parents' house, and they remodeled the bathroom!
It was a little weird because things were organized,
But it was nice and clean!!
We held my grandfather's first memorial service well!
Except it was too hot... π
It's already September!! But it's still so hot. γ γ
But it's cool in the evenings, so maybe fall is coming?
I'll be back next week without falling behind... (Maybe? π)
