A June Filled with Doggos and Adventures

Starting June with my furry friends at a dog-friendly cafe!
On Monday, I went to a dog cafe with my sister and mom. The moment we arrived, the dogs were so excited!
They ran around like crazy for a while, disappearing from sight.
Then, exhausted, Jadoo just flopped down.
It's hilarious to see Jadoo suddenly collapsing when she's tired, even after running around with her mouth wide open or taking a walk. She's a unique type of dog I've never seen before.
Is it okay for a dog to live this carefree?
The next day, I went to vote by myself.
The weather was so nice after voting.
I took a walk in the park near my house and then came back home. (Taking pretty pictures during a walk always makes me happy!)

Wednesday, I went to Nodeul Island to enjoy the beautiful weather.
I kept thinking about the Four B Bagel I had with Ji-hye when we went to Nodeul Island a while ago. So this time, I stopped by Yongsan I'Park Mall first to get a Jambon Beurre sandwich and coffee to go.
It was a weekday, so Nodeul Island wasn't crowded. I sat on a bench right in front of the Han River and munched on my sandwich.

Last time, the butter melted because of the hot weather, which was a shame, but this time it didn't melt, so I was very happy.
Nodeul Island is so peaceful and nice on weekdays!
But the wind was blowing quite a bit, so I got a little cold sitting still. I took a short walk and enjoyed the leisure.

Suddenly, I decided to go to Gwangjang Market.
When I arrived at Gwangjang Market, the first thing I did was grab a twisted donut. I walked around and ate some tteokbokki that looked delicious.
I've been here before for a daytime beer. (Cheers!)

I was going to eat yukhoe (raw beef), but I remembered the delicious yukhoe cold noodles I had in Gyeongju, so I tried it at Gwangjang Market. Let's just stick to eating yukhoe at Gwangjang Market...
Since I ate all day, I went for a walk to digest my food.

I wanted to play Rummikub, so I went to a board game cafe. (I really like quiet games that require you to use your brain.)

After playing board games, I went to Ikseon-dong for dinner at an outdoor restaurant ✨
I arrived a little after rush hour, but luckily there were still some outdoor seats available, so I quickly sat down.
The taste of grilled pork belly outside... need I say more?

After dinner, I felt a little sad to just go home, so I went to the street food stalls. But it was too crowded, so I found another street food area on the way home.
It was almost full here too, but luckily, a spot opened up right away. I enjoyed the early summer street food romance with oden soup and grilled mackerel pike.
After a very spicy Memorial Day holiday, I went to a neighborhood izakaya that I'd wanted to try for a while.

The basic side dishes were unique and delicious, but the aged sashimi (숙성회) was the best.
But this ramen I ordered because I was still a little hungry... was the best. It sobered me up from all the alcohol.

The next day, I wasn't feeling well, but my sister and brother called me saying they were at a "yeokmaek" (맥주집 near the subway station) near my house. I went out for a beer and ended up going to a karaoke bar for the second round.

I drank quite a bit of beer at the yeokmaek, and then kept drinking beer at the karaoke bar. The next day, my face looked like Luffy's face (from One Piece).
I couldn't even get out of bed and just took a funny picture.

One day, the full moon was so clear and beautiful when I was coming home with my mom after watching a movie and having dinner.

My sister asked me to make chewy cookies, so I tried it for the first time. Thanks to that, I used up all the marshmallows I had at home.
After some trial and error, I finished the chewy cookies. I packaged them nicely, just like I saw in cafes.

And delivery complete! ✌
Back to the weekend, I enjoyed the outdoor weather while eating chicken and beer at the park near my house.
I ordered chicken and beer from Samdeok Tongdak.

Since there were no tables at the restaurant, I ate at a table in the park, which was even better because I could buy my favorite Blanc beer.
(I wish every day was like June weather!)
