I have so many posts to catch up on – Vietnam, New Humans, PENTAGON, and more. But after a long time, I'm going to lightly tap out a slice-of-life post.

At the end of May, I went on a stage tour hosted by the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.

The day before, someone from the Arts Center called to ask if I'd still be okay going since, apart from another applicant and a teacher, it would mostly be elementary school students on a field trip.

"Is the other person coming?"

"Yes, they're coming."

"Then I'll go too!"

And that's how it happened.

I toured the backstage with kids who looked like they were in 4th or 5th grade, and some older girl who majored in wind instruments.

I touched (O), didn't play (X), a very expensive Steinway piano. It's the piano that Cho Seong-jin played, so I can brag about it.

It happened to be the day of early voting, so I voted and went to work.

Eun-kyung, Jung-eun, and Yerim went on a picnic!

It's been a long time since One Card.

Turns out it was a secret gathering for WOODZ fans.

I took photos for my driver's license renewal that day, but I didn't like them so much that I felt self-loathing (?). I rebooked at Bisa Oru in Daejeon, where I had taken photos before that I liked.

까망콩 (Kkamang kong - Black Bean)

I went to Dunsan-dong to meet Hyoni after taking photos.

I wanted to buy this scent ﻭﻭﻭ. Yugen Inspire ????

As expected, Bisa Oru is the best!

I love flowers.

At Hanbat Arboretum... what was it? Gochu Mayo...? Anyway, it was some kind of chicken like that.

A dog who just likes taking walks.

There are so many songs to listen to in the summer.

I made eye contact with a dazed baby magpie that was flying low on my way to work.

Jung-eun and I went to a cafe in Haemi-dong. We got lost a lot ^^ﻭﻭﻭ.

I tried to pick a phrase to submit to the Kyobo Bookstore handwriting contest, but ended up not choosing anything and just went out to play.

A chopstick rest that looks like Borumi.

I went to eat conveyor belt sushi wearing a Coldplay t-shirt, and the part-timer shyly asked, "Um, did you happen to go to Coldplay...? I'm jealous... haha."

A Miffy tumbler. I bought it as soon as it opened.

Why is it called "Rampaging Guinea Pig?"

A seed that Borumi picked up while walking. I soaked it in wet tissue for days, but it didn't germinate.

Someone who is thirty years old, spilled tteokbokki on their favorite t-shirt, and came home like that because they were lazy.

Hope Puppy.

Munching Puppy.

I remember vaguely imitating Seo Taiji. What kind of adolescence did I have?

Geranium died ㅎ

I visited Buyeo Gungnamji with my family to see the lotus flowers, but we went a little too early, so there wasn't much to see.

My sister took these with her digital camera.

Deciding on Jung-eun's blog name. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Is this the price I pay for a paid GPT subscription ^^??

One dry and hot morning, I met a snail while walking Borumi.

I soaked it in shallow water, but there was no reaction, so I thought it was dead, but it woke up 10 minutes before I left for work;;

I temporarily housed it in a Starbucks cup.

I named it Dali.

At a cafe near Gyeryongsan ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

These are the legendary doggos.

A crazy snail that only comes out when there's food.

Fun birdwatching life.

I wanted to add panda fish cakes, but Bang Yerim refused.

My expression when I'm playing board games with my siblings.

Jung-eun's car phone holder. My laughing button ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ ㅜ

One day, it rained a lot, so I couldn't take the shortcut.

I tried to return this guy at this time, but it looked like it would get washed away, so Fail.

After living as a closing part-timer (=dishwasher hell) for five months, I developed dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. I was barely surviving with the ointment my mom used to use, but one dawn when I was too tired to apply medicine, my hands itched like crazy, and I scratched and scratched, and I felt something slightly wet, so I thought, "Ugh, am I bleeding?" I turned on the light to check, but there was no blood. Several small blisters had burst. Ugh. Creepy.

The next day, my mom found my hands and scolded me like crazy, and I finally came to my senses and went to the dermatologist that day. The doctor said that it didn't look like the hands of a 28-year-old woman(?), and that my skin was too weak and thin, and asked what kind of medicine I was using. I said it was lavender cream, and they said that the medicine had too much steroid in it and should only be used occasionally. I was like, "Huh ㅎㅎ I put that on every day and slept with gloves on!!" and they grabbed their hair with both hands and suffered like a chihuahua in shock.

In the end, I was prescribed Advantan, which has less steroid in it, but I lost it in two weeks. Kkaak ㅋㅋ

Oyes Cake gifted by the PENTAGON dormitory family.

I turned 29 (Korean age). Meaning 28 internationally.

Yerim made me a cake with lots of fruit.

I'll write another post about our cute vacation to Seosan!

Seosan vacation teaser: The birthday person picks out all the fruit to the end.

I still like this kind of thing.

On a slightly rainy day, I put the crazy snail back on the tree where I first found it. Go on and live in a world without tomatoes, cherries, apples, watermelons, or lettuce.

Jiseon gave me this keyring as a birthday present. I'm in big trouble deciding where to put it ~.~

It's become late summer, the perfect time to listen to Gumchi's Tint Troubles.

It was a pretty good summer.

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
