A Fun Family Outing: Coin Karaoke at N Street in Ingye-dong

After work, I met up with my kids near my office. We were looking for something fun to do in Ingye-dong, and decided to visit N Street Coin Karaoke!
The kids had their first karaoke experience last time, but they were a little overwhelmed and didn't get to fully enjoy it. They kept asking to go again, so I knew they were excited for this trip.
Maybe they inherited my love for karaoke from my high school days! 😉
Parking in N Street can be tricky, so we parked at the Gyeonggi Arts Center nearby. It was an easy walk from the parking lot to N Street Coin Karaoke.

Stepping inside, we found the familiar setup of a coin karaoke place: a kiosk, a currency exchange machine, and a vending machine for drinks, all neatly arranged.
The interior design, with its clean white and blue color scheme, was very impressive. It was simply neat and tidy.
While the space wasn't huge, the white tones made it feel less cramped, which was nice.

Microphone covers, song books, and tambourines were available in the hallway, so we could grab what we needed.
I appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing phone chargers!
Being an old-school person who needs a song book, I grabbed a microphone cover, a book, and a tambourine, and we headed to our room.
N Street Coin Karaoke is known for its rooms with standing microphones, but unfortunately, that room was already occupied when we arrived.
The rooms at N Street Coin Karaoke in Ingye-dong's N Street are generally on the smaller side.
While it's perfectly fine for families like us, I think it would be ideal for solo karaoke sessions, dates, or small groups of 2-3 friends.

We kicked things off with some Crayon Pop songs, as usual. 😉
The kids, who had been looking forward to this, quickly started adding songs to the queue.
They don't listen to a lot of K-pop, so they didn't know many songs, but they sang all the ones they knew! 😂
Even though the room was small, it seemed to help create a lively atmosphere.
They quickly got excited and started dancing! 😂😂😂😂

They even sang Gangnam Style, which was super popular back in the day, and danced along!
These days, karaoke places have digital tambourines or pads that make sounds when you press a button, but nothing beats the fun of the analog version.
Today, we were shaking the tambourine enthusiastically and having a blast.
It was hilarious – I had reserved a Pororo song, and as soon as the intro started, the kids went wild! 😂😂😂😂
They're way past the age of watching Pororo, but they still can't resist 'I love to play!' 😂😂😂😂😂

Dad even sang an oldie!
Even though he sang a slow, old song that could have dampened the mood, the kids clapped and cheered without turning it off. So pure! 😂
We had a great time singing until late. There are many things to do in Ingye-dong, but not many places are suitable for kids. I'm glad we found a place where we could all have fun together.
If you're near Suwon City Hall Station, in N Street, looking for something fun to do in Ingye-dong, a place to relieve stress, or just want to sing some songs, N Street Coin Karaoke is a great option.
