A Bride-to-Be's Review: Louisvuis Wedding Hall Jung-gu, Seoul - Location, Food, and More!

I received points from Direct Wedding Preparation for introducing them, which I could use to purchase wedding items (bouquet, traditional wedding foods, etc.).
This is my third wedding hall review, after visiting over 10 venues!
Today, I visited Louisvuis Jung-gu, located in Chungjeong-ro.
When I didn't have a specific wedding hall in mind, the first thing I considered was transportation.
I vaguely wanted a venue close to Seoul/Yongsan KTX station, so I toured wedding halls near the stations.
✅ Louisvuis Jung-gu is an amazing wedding hall, less than 10 minutes from Seoul Station, making it super close to the KTX!
It's also perfectly located about 5 minutes from Chungjeongno Station (Line 2).
✅ Being close to Seoul Station, Louisvuis Jung-gu operates a shuttle.
They have a shuttle circulating between Seoul Station and the wedding hall, which is great for guests arriving by KTX.
If you have many guests coming from out of town, this wedding hall is definitely worth considering.
Also, it's located in the Korea Economic Daily building, so the wedding hall has exclusive use of the building on weekends.
✅ Which means... convenient parking even in the heart of Seoul!
Louisvuis Jung-gu operates as a single hall on the 18th floor.
✅ Weddings are scheduled every 70 minutes.
Since it's a single hall, the wedding intervals are a bit short.
As you can see in the photos, the hall has a high ceiling and a decent width.
When I walked in, it didn't feel cramped, and it had a grand atmosphere unique to dark halls.
The flowers are colorful, but I personally prefer white and green flowers.
So, the colored flowers weren't really my style. I think it would have been better if there was one main color.
When the bride enters, pin spotlights on the ceiling light up one by one in time with her steps.
The pin spotlights looked prettier in person than in the photos.
The aisle was a moderate length and made of marble, so it didn't feel too dark even though it's a dark hall.
The marble aisle and the white drape in the front made me think that I wouldn't necessarily need to wear a beaded dress. I prefer silk, so I liked this aspect.
However, as you can see in the photos, there aren't many flower decorations overall.
There are fewer flowers in the front, and the hall feels a bit empty, in my opinion. Also, the lighting is ivory rather than white, giving it a warm tone.
The drape on the ceiling looked strange in the photos, but when the pin spotlights were on, it gave a luxurious feel in person.
It's important to see the hall with the lighting on during an actual wedding before making a decision.
The banquet hall is located on the 8th floor.
Louisvuis Jung-gu is also famous for its banquet hall.
It's known for its delicious banquet food.
✅ The banquet hall has large windows all around, offering a great view.
The view of Inwangsan Mountain allows you to dine in an open and airy space, which is wonderful.
The banquet hall has round tables, and the chairs are a bit princess-like. Refrigerators with alcoholic beverages are placed throughout the banquet hall for guests to help themselves.
I was a bit unsure about this. Guests might wonder if they're allowed to take drinks from the refrigerators.
If you have your wedding here, it might be a good idea to tell your friends to feel free to take drinks from the refrigerators. (No other drinks are arranged.)
As rumored, Louisvuis Jung-gu had a wide variety of food, and I felt that everything was well-prepared and in good condition.
In particular, the tuna in the sashimi corner seemed to be well-thawed and fresh. Although not pictured, there were many meat dishes to choose from, a live cooking station, and galbitang (short rib soup) is served.
It's not common to have galbitang served at a wedding buffet! I felt it was a good place that both older and younger guests could enjoy. Although I didn't taste it myself, the reviews from others were good, and the food looked delicious, so I was satisfied.
I felt that this wedding hall had the three most important elements for a wedding: location, parking, and food. There's a reason why it's so popular!
Louisvuis Wedding Hall Jung-gu's Advantages:
???? Fantastic Location: 5 minutes walk from Chungjeongno Station (Line 2) / Less than 15 minutes from Seoul KTX Station
???? Convenient Parking: Rare for a wedding hall in Seoul
???? Single Hall: No guest confusion
???? Lobby Terrace: Space for early guests to rest
???? Food: Wide variety of food, well-balanced with meat and seafood
However, we ultimately didn't choose this wedding hall for our wedding.
I heard that Louisvuis Jung-gu is a cost-effective hall with a good location in Seoul, but we received a peak season quote, so it wasn't cost-effective for us. Of course, the term "cost-effective" doesn't really make sense for a wedding hall with a good location during peak season. (Now that I think about it ^^;)
Therefore, the quote was much higher than we expected. It was a great place, but after seeing the quote and looking at the wedding hall again, there were some drawbacks. Of course, these drawbacks might have been overlooked if we had received a good price during the off-season. (?) lol
Drawbacks compared to the advantages: ????
☑️ The location and parking are great because it's in the Korea Economic Daily building, but the wedding hall is located on the 18th floor, so it feels empty when you enter the building. When you first enter the building, it feels deserted and you might wonder if it's really the wedding hall.
☑️ Small Lobby: Although it's a single hall, the lobby is small, and it gets crowded if there are many congratulatory flower stands. Also, I personally didn't like the wood and yellow tones of the lobby's lighting.
☑️ Hall Condition: The color of the flowers and the somewhat sparse flower decorations. Before receiving the quote, I thought the flower decorations were acceptable for a cost-effective hall. But after receiving the peak season quote, I immediately changed my mind and thought they were disappointing.
☑️ Overall outdated interior (lobby/hall/banquet hall), including the bride's waiting room
Louisvuis Jung-gu has both significant advantages and disadvantages!
I think the disadvantages could be covered by the price, so if you receive an off-season or afternoon quote, it's definitely a wedding hall you'll be satisfied with.
If you're looking for a wedding hall in Seoul with a perfect location, parking, and food, I highly recommend Louisvuis Jung-gu!
