Today, I have a review of the Olive Young Lounge in Seongsu.
As I frequently shop at Olive Young, I have been a Gold Olive member for quite some time.
I recently discovered that one of the benefits available to Gold members is access to the Olive Members Lounge.
Among the various benefits for Gold Olives, there are the N Seongsu Lounge and the Central Gangnam Town Lounge.
Having used both lounges extensively, I thought it was time to share my honest experience!
When I first visited, I was a bit confused, but after using it monthly, I've become quite familiar with the process.
Olive Members Levels
Olive Members levels are determined based on the total amount spent online and offline over the previous six months.
Eligibility for Olive Members Lounge
Only BLACK and GOLD members can access the Olive Young Members Lounge.
Types of Olive Members Lounges
There are two Olive Members Lounges: in Gangnam and Seongsu.
The Central Gangnam Town Lounge offers free drinks and snacks (up to 2 people).
If one person visits, they get one drink and one snack; if two visit, each gets one drink and one snack.
On the other hand, the Olive Young N Seongsu Lounge is divided into Cafe Stand on the first floor and the Olive Members Lounge on the fourth floor.
The Cafe Stand offers one free drink for up to 2 people, while the Lounge allows one drink and one dessert for up to 4 people.
Usage Frequency of Olive Members Lounge
Members can use both the Gangnam and Seongsu lounges once each month.
However, you can only use one of either the Seongsu Lounge or Cafe.
Since my office is in Gangnam, I usually take out from there and then visit the fourth-floor lounge in Seongsu.
How to Get to the Olive Young Lounge in Seongsu
To get to the Olive Young Members Lounge, enter the Olive Young building and take the central escalator to the fourth floor.
Once on the fourth floor, follow the arrows straight ahead and up the stairs to reach the lounge.
Reservation and Wait Time at the Olive Members Lounge
Upon arriving on the fourth floor, you can verify your membership via the Olive Young app, select your number and number of visitors, and choose between the lounge or takeout.
In the past, I could enter right away on weekdays, but recently, I’ve had to wait even on weekdays due to high traffic.
Weekends are particularly crowded.
I visited on a recent Tuesday evening and registered for a 7:04 PM reservation, but I didn’t get in until 7:43 PM.
While we entered, there were issues with others waiting to get in despite available seats inside, leading to complaints.
It seemed that there were enough seats for those waiting, but they were told the lounge was closing soon.
Interior of the Olive Members Lounge
The lounge has a clean and beautiful interior with ample space and comfortable seating, making it a great spot to relax with a coffee after shopping.
It reminded me of the bright atmosphere of the Lotte Department Store Lounge, which also offers free access for up to four people.
Ordering and Menu at the Olive Members Lounge
To order at the lounge, simply scan the QR code at your seat.
Each person can only order one drink and one dessert for free.
The drink menu includes Americano, Latte, Collagen Ampoule Tea, and Herbal Tea.
Dessert options include Mango Basket Tart, Plum Tiramisu, and Earl Grey Foundation Cake.
The Collagen Ampoule Tea was particularly good!
All desserts, including the Plum Tiramisu and Tart, tasted just as good as those from regular cafes.
The Olive Members Lounge is definitely worth a visit once a month!
