Netmarble's Upcoming MMORPG 'Vampir' Unveiled: A Deep Dive into the Vampire World

Netmarble’s upcoming MMORPG Vampir has officially been revealed through its first showcase, drawing strong attention for its dark vampire-themed world and evolved economic system.
The presentation highlighted four distinct classes, a field-based diamond economy, and a clear separation between growth-focused and competition-focused content.
With inter-server competition, long-term seasonal operation, and generous pre-registration rewards, Vampir is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated MMORPGs of the year.
A Dark Vampire MMORPG Finally Revealed
Netmarble’s official Vampir showcase, held on the 29th at 8 PM, focused on clearly delivering the game’s core identity and long-term operational vision.
Developers directly explained combat philosophy, economic structure, and competitive content, emphasizing that Vampir evolves beyond traditional MMORPG frameworks.
Four Classes, Four Combat Identities
Vampir launches with four distinct classes, each defined by its main weapon and combat role.
Carnage specializes in firearms and rapid-fire impact, Bloodstain blends tanking and damage as a berserker, Viper dominates wide areas with poison, curses, and summons, while Grim Reaper uses stealth, teleportation, and scythe-based melee combat.
A Field-Based Diamond Economy
One of Vampir’s most emphasized features is its economic system. Diamonds, the game’s core currency, can be obtained directly through field hunting.
This design allows players to earn meaningful value purely through gameplay, creating a natural economic circulation between users rather than forcing monetization paths.
Growth Servers vs Inter-Server Gehenna
Vampir clearly separates growth-focused and competition-focused content. Individual servers allow stable progression without interference, while the inter-server battlefield Gehenna offers nonstop PvP from day one.
Bosses appear on fixed schedules, rewarding players who fight for server honor, while seasonal reorganization ensures fresh competition and evolving strategies.
Fair Rewards for Winners and Losers
Winners in Gehenna gain powerful privileges as Lords of Blood, including exclusive equipment, clan buffs, and special authority.
At the same time, contribution-based reward distribution ensures that even non-winning participants receive meaningful benefits, encouraging sustained participation without frustration.
Anti-Abuse Systems and Transparent Operation
Vampir integrates AI-based monitoring and regular patches to counter workshops and abusive behavior.
Game Masters will actively communicate with players, and a public status board will transparently show how user feedback is processed.
Launch Date, Roadmap, and Pre-Registration Rewards
Vampir officially launches on August 26, followed by a roadmap featuring inter-server content, clan dungeons, world bosses, new territories, new classes, and large-scale PvP.
Pre-registration offers rewards worth approximately 149,000 won, including mounts, enhancement items, portraits, and early-growth resources.
