Diablo Immortal: The Druid - A Wildly Satisfying New Class

Hello,
I'm Park Han-ryang, an influencer.
Finally, the Druid, a new class, has arrived in Diablo Immortal! After waiting for so long, my first experience playing the Druid exceeded my expectations. Embodying both the instincts of a beast and the fury of nature, the Druid truly lives up to the name of the ultimate protector of Sanctuary. As a successor to 'Ife's Claw,' a legend from deep within the Shrouded Moors, the Druid embraces the power of the wilderness with their whole being.
One of the most appealing aspects of the Druid is that you can nurture them in a 'hybrid' form, mixing various skills and styles, rather than sticking to a single concept. You can transform into animals like wolves, bears, stags, and ravens, and use summons and natural magic to customize your build as you desire. Having played all the classes in Immortal, I personally think the Druid has the best initial immersion and feel.

Freely transforming into wolves, bears, ravens, and stags, the skills that tear the earth and summon flames are powerful and exhilarating. It's especially thrilling to transform into a werewolf and quickly tear enemies apart, or to charge as a werebear and stun them. Knocking enemies back with 'Stag Rush' to create distance and sweeping through the air with a 'Murder of Crows' really makes you realize the true power of nature.

Differentiated Concept and Visuals
Create a new character and select the Druid class.
The Druid is a powerful shaman and a master of melee combat. They can overwhelm enemies with earthquakes and landslides, while also protecting and healing allies with the cycle of life and thorny armor, fulfilling various roles. Above all, the satisfying feeling of efficiently managing 'Primal Strength' and combining powerful skills was impressive. For example, summoning wolf companions to clear the battlefield, pulling enemies together with a fiery vortex, and finishing with an earthquake is a powerful combo that you'll want to keep trying as soon as you get the hang of it.

The Real Feel of the Druid From the Start
The Druid I felt while playing was not just a powerful character, but a true guardian symbolizing nature and the wild. The ability to transform into any form you want to respond appropriately to enemies, heal allies, and lead a large battlefield is truly impressive. If you're ready to protect Sanctuary with the fury of nature and the claws of a beast, choose the Druid right now. You will definitely feel the reward for waiting.

Fast and Diverse Combat
Diablo Immortal Druid
What I liked most about playing the Druid this time was the variety of skill configurations. Among them, the werewolf transformation that I chose as my main force was really impressive. With its fast attack speed, high damage, and increased movement speed, it was highly useful not only in combat but also in mapping. You can also transform into a bear, and the forms of ravens and stags also appear, so you can enjoy various transformations. Ravens and stags are used as active skills, but I was satisfied that they added a cool effect to the battle.

The Druid in Immortal is the Most Druid-like of all the Diablo Series!
Since the combat in Diablo Immortal is generally fast-paced, the Druid is designed to match. The werewolf can be played as a fast and intuitive assassin style, while the werebear can be played as a style specialized in tanking and crowd control. Summons such as wolves, grizzly bears, and oak sages help in combat with different roles, and more diverse play is possible with legendary items. Among the summons, wolves always faithfully stay by your side, bears are powerful but summoned for a limited time, and oak sages provide support with ranged attacks.

Summoning skills were also quite useful. In the beginning, you could summon wolf companions to fight with you, and you could call them to the desired location when reusing them, making strategic use possible. It was reassuring that the wolves helped the battle by dealing great damage to the enemy, and I am looking forward to the bear summoning skill that can be obtained later. And there was one natural spell skill that was really useful from the beginning, which was the Fire Whirlwind. The basic damage is somewhat low, but I especially liked the fact that it can gather enemies in one place to collect mobs. This was a really useful skill in a game like Diablo where you have to face a lot of enemies.

Like this, the Druid can freely combine natural spells, summons, and transformations to create a build that suits your concept, making it fun. I mainly used the werewolf, and added Fire Whirlwind, wolf summons, and a Murder of Crows to assist it, which helped with mapping and quest progress, to configure and enjoy the skills. The keyword 'hybrid' was the core of the Druid from the design stage.

Looking at the skills that the Druid can use, there are surprisingly diverse and attractive skills. Starting with basic attacks that wield the power of nature with a staff, you can transform into werewolves and werebears to unleash powerful melee attacks, and if necessary, you can summon beasts and companions such as ravens, bears, and stags to receive combat support. It's also fun to use 'Primal Strength,' a unique resource, to unleash powerful skills instantly, and it's impressive that the combat style changes infinitely when you organically combine transformation, summoning, and natural spells.

Story-wise, the Druids and Witches of the Shrouded Moors are depicted as opposing entities. The Witches regard the Druids as intruders, and the Druids clash with the Witches, believing they are harming the forest. This conflict is resolved through the 'Squirming Moors' quest line, allowing for a deeper understanding of the Druid and the history of their homeland.

It is also worth noting that a whopping 60 legendary items have been added with this Druid release. Each item is designed to maximize the Druid's nature, transformation, summons, and primal power, and it's impressive how the combat style changes dramatically each time you choose according to your build. For example, 'Earthskull' which combines werewolf attacks with flames, 'Moi's Pouch' which further increases the power of werebears, and 'The Tattered Kite' which pushes back enemies and grants shields, each have intense themes and effects. There are also various items prepared that synergize with summons such as ravens, wolves, oak sages, and grizzly bears, or that enhance natural spells.

So many users are enjoying the Druid with various builds!
The Druid is easy for both beginners and experts to pick up, with intuitive skills and strong interactions. In PvE, you can play without using much Primal Strength, and in PvP, you can unleash your potential by actively utilizing transformations and elemental magic. It is also designed to serve as a supporter in the party with healing and support abilities.

Above all, the game is generally easy and intuitive, so not only users who like hack-and-slash games, but also beginners who are not familiar with games, could quickly adapt. The structure makes you more and more immersed as you level up, so you can enjoy it even more. In particular, the Druid felt much more fun because you can play in a hybrid form by mixing various elements rather than nurturing in one style. As a user who has nurtured all the classes in Diablo Immortal, I personally think the Druid has the best initial immersion.

This Druid was a wonderful class that captured the expectations and affection I had cultivated while playing the Diablo series. The primal power, wild charm, fast combat speed, and free build were all well-balanced. It was worth the long wait, and I am still enjoying researching new builds. If you want to protect Sanctuary as a guardian of nature, I recommend you challenge the Druid without hesitation.
