Zen Korean BBQ Sadang: An All-You-Can-Eat K-BBQ Adventure!

Hello, I'm Lee Jini!
Today, I visited the trendy Zen Korean BBQ Sadang branch. I kept seeing Zen Korean BBQ on Instagram Reels, and I was so curious! So, I went to finally try it out. 😉
I'll be posting a detailed review, covering everything from parking to the menu and premium options.

Parking Information
Parking not available at the restaurant.
Use the public parking lot at the beginning of the alley (3,000 KRW per hour).
Exterior
The striking blue exterior was impressive.
It seems like all-you-can-eat is popular these days.
Unlimited shabu-shabu, now followed by unlimited BBQ and salad!
Interior
The first floor looked like this. The left side has terrace seating, giving it an outdoor dining vibe. There were also separate rooms.
There was also a second floor, mainly used for large groups.
Restrooms are located inside.

When ordering Zen Premium, an additional 19,800 KRW is added to the usage fee per adult, but you can order the following:
Giant Prime Rib, California Steak, Premium LA Marinated Ribs, Premium Boneless Short Rib, Cajun Shrimp, and Pocheon Idong Galbi.
Alcohol and Beverages
They had a variety of drinks and alcoholic beverages, including highballs, Capri Soju, wine, regular Soju, beer, non-alcoholic cocktails, and carbonated drinks.
My Order
Basic Side Dishes
The basic side dishes included radish kimchi, soybean paste, garlic, chili peppers, kimchi, pickled chili peppers, potato salad, green onion salad, and japchae (glass noodles).
Giant Prime Rib
I ordered two servings of the prime rib, and two large rib racks came out.
The ribs were really substantial.
They were also quite thick, making them juicy and delicious! ㅎㅎ
Lettuce Wraps & Assorted Vegetables
For the lettuce wraps, green lettuce and cabbage were served.
When I ordered it next time, they even gave me perilla leaves!

The assorted vegetables included zucchini, king oyster mushrooms, and sweet potatoes.

Grilled Shrimp

Corn Cheese

Doenjang Jjigae (Soybean Paste Stew)
What's really great is that I could order whatever I wanted at the timing I wanted, whether it was meat or stew.
It was so good to eat stew in the middle of eating meat and then go back to eating meat again. ㅎㅎ

Makchang (Pork Intestines)
One of today's best menus! A menu that I reordered a lot.
I ordered one serving, and eating it in between the meat made it less monotonous.
The makchang didn't smell, and the quality was good.

Yukhoe (Beef Tartare)
I also ordered yukhoe in the middle.

Premium Boneless Short Rib
Since it was boneless short rib, the meaty flavor was strong, and the quality was good.

Zen Premium Steak
I trimmed off a little bit of the fat before eating it,
and it had that perfect steak aroma and was thick but tender.

Pork Skin
They gave me pork skin with soybean powder and red chili paste sauce.
Eating just one piece was perfect.

Suwon Idong Galbi
Finished off with Suwon Idong Galbi.
Only one rib came out, which was nice and not overwhelming.

Ramen
They gave me Shin Ramyun, and I could add chili peppers, rice cakes, eggs, etc., to my liking, which was so good.
Hangang Ramen was also delicious and chewy.

Jjapagetti
You must try the Idong Galbi + Jjapagetti combination.
I ordered Jjapagetti because I was a little sad after eating all the ramen. ㅎㅎ

Overall Review
1. Although it's a salad bar, it's not self-service. You order on the tablet on the table, and they bring it to you right away, so you can eat comfortably.
It's nice that you don't have to go back and forth like at buffets or all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurants these days, so you don't waste time.
2. You can order one serving at a time, so it's good for tasting a variety of dishes.
(From pork to beef, shrimp, makchang, pork skin, etc.)
3. The food quality was all good! Great value for money!
The quality can be low with all-you-can-eat, but Zen Korean BBQ seems to care about the quality.
