Feeling like hungry hyenas, Hwani and I sneaked away from work for lunch at "Yummy China"!

We found this Chinese restaurant while searching near Ungdong. The convenient parking and the spacious, clean interior made a great first impression!

Location & Hours & Parking

Location: 44-13 Daejang-ro, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si

Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Last order is at 8:00 PM, so keep that in mind! Parking: The parking lot is HUGE!!! And free~ No need to worry!!

From the outside, the restaurant looked grand, clean, and stylish. The organized interior made me feel good too. I'd only seen it from afar before, so I was happy to finally visit.

Aprons are available, which is good to know if you're wearing light-colored clothes. There's also a self-service bar next to the aprons. They're running a "zero food waste" campaign, so there's a ₩5000 environmental fee if you leave leftovers! It's best not to leave any food, right?

We went during weekend lunch hours, and it was incredibly crowded. A true local favorite!

There are private rooms, making it a great place for family dinners or group gatherings.

These days, you can conveniently order using a kiosk! 👍

Our Menu 😋😋😋😋

Ganjajang (Large): ₩10,000

Seafood Jjamppong (Large): ₩10,000

Sweet and Sour Pork (Mini): ₩12,000

We were hungry and greedy, so we ordered everything in large sizes!

The basic side dishes were jjajai, pickled radish, onion, and chunjang (black bean sauce).

Chili powder and vinegar, essential for jjajangmyeon, were on the table!

They gave us a generous amount of ganjajang sauce. Which was great!

Ganjajang 🍜

The noodles were chewy, and the glossy black bean sauce was delicious. It wasn't too sweet or too salty, making it easy to enjoy. Hwani said he was glad we ordered different dishes and devoured his meal! lol

Seafood Jjamppong 🍜🌶️

Fantastic Scene

The broth was rich and flavorful, spicy and refreshing. It had plenty of seafood, giving the broth a deep flavor. Perfect for a rainy day!

Sweet and Sour Pork 🐷✨

Amazing Scene

I highly recommend their sweet and sour pork! The batter was made with glutinous rice, making it crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The meat was plentiful and satisfying, and it paired perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce! 👍 The sauce was really sweet and sour!! Maybe it's thanks to the ginger powder on top, but it wasn't greasy and just right~

Today, we completely finished all of our food again...

Usually, you go to a Chinese restaurant for the taste rather than the atmosphere, but Yummy China is clean and quiet, making it perfect for a date. Time flew by as Hwani and I sat side-by-side, enjoying delicious food and chatting about various things. 😁

“A perfect Chinese restaurant in Ungdong with a clean atmosphere, delicious food, and convenient parking!”

If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in Ungdong, I confidently recommend Yummy China. Next time, I'll definitely come back with my family for a course meal! 😊
