A joyful moment

I went to Bangsan Market on a drizzly day.

The weather was chilly, and I suddenly craved ramen.

I searched for ramen places in Euljiro and happened to visit this place.

It's 'Uchujin Ra-men,' located on the 3rd floor of Daelim Arcade.

Finding it was difficult at first. ㅜ

I thought there were only restaurants on one side of Daelim Arcade, so I kept going back and forth on that side... but it was on the opposite side!

For those who are lost like me, I recommend just walking around the entire 3rd floor of Daelim Arcade!

The meaning of Uchujin is 'astronaut,' so I wondered if the interior was designed with a space theme. (Maybe not...)

There's a large bar table and one 4-person table.

It looked like a great place for solo dining. I came alone today, and I really liked the large bar table.

In the middle of the bar table, there were hair ties, showing the owner's thoughtfulness.

Although you can't see it in the picture, there was also a wireless charger and toothpicks!

These small touches are very memorable when visiting a store.

This is the toothpick holder, and each interior item looked adorable and carefully chosen!

I ordered the Shio Ramen.

Besides Shio Ramen, they also had Tantanmen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and even Tsukemen.

I love all those ramen types, so I was really struggling to choose what to eat.

But today's weather called for Shio Ramen~

The visuals were clean, simple and it looked savory.

The taste is like chicken gomtang, but a bit saltier and definitely ramen-like.

You can choose between thick and thin noodles, and Shio Ramen is best with thin noodles!

Tantanmen or Tonkotsu would be more delicious with thick noodles, I think.

Also, I don't usually like bamboo shoots, but here, the unique smell of bamboo shoots was almost nonexistent.

I really enjoyed it, not leaving a single ingredient behind.

If you feel a bit greasy in the middle, you can add pepper or shichimi freely.

And there was mustard leaf kimchi and citron pickled radish available to take yourself!

Really,

'jmt!!!!!!' ( 존맛탱, Korean slang for 존맛, very delicious)

I'm sorry, but I think I devoured all the mustard leaf kimchi...

I ate all the broth, so I couldn't just eat plain rice.

I ordered Menchi Katsu with a Naver review, but I'm not sure about it.

I didn't like the mayonnaise on it...

But when I ate it, it was delicious, so I ate it well.

It was a very delicious ramen after a long time.

ごちそ様です!!! (Gochisosama desu!!! - Thank you for the meal!!!)
