Located in the food court on the B1 floor of Lotte Department Store Jamsil. It's right there when you come down the escalator from the 1st floor. The operating hours are the same as the department store's.
Searching and searching for meat, I finally found this restaurant. I secured a seat first, fearing they'd run out, and quickly looked at the menu.
It seemed like everyone was ordering ramen, perhaps it's a ramen 맛집, but as a dedicated meat lover, I chose the katsu.
I sat right in front of the chef, and it was nice and warm, almost making me forget the chilly weather.
The staff were very busy, but also very kind.
Watching them diligently prepare the food, wiping the beads of sweat from their foreheads, I could already tell it would be delicious before even tasting it.
I ordered the Rosu Katsu (11.9). The side dishes were neither too much nor too little, and the seasoning was just right.
Rice, meat, and soup, plus a salad for fiber. Uchujin Ramen & Katsu offers a perfect balance of carbs, protein, and fat.
They say you can tell if a restaurant is good by ordering the most basic menu item.
So? Uchujin's Rosu Katsu is always delicious.
