Enjoyed a weekend glamping near Seoul at Topgol Chicken Stew in Jangheung Tourist Area, a camping-themed restaurant that's great for families. Topgol is famous as a valley restaurant in Jangheung Tourist Area, Yangju. While visiting the camping restaurant, we also checked out the valley area, and the path down felt like something out of a Chinese martial arts movie - very atmospheric!
The valley restaurant at Topgol Chicken Stew in Jangheung Tourist Area has this kind of vibe. With the valley right next door, it looks like a great place to hang out with family, friends, significant others, or groups, especially during the summer.
After exploring the valley restaurant, we moved over to the camping zone, where the food was all ready for us. We grilled the meat and enjoyed our time outdoors. The kitchen was happy to heat up our baby's pureed food in the microwave, and with menu items like meat, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes, and sweet pumpkin, there were plenty of options for our 15-month-old to eat - making it a great restaurant for families with babies in Yangju Jangheung Tourist Area.
Topgol Chicken Stew in Jangheung Tourist Area is a Yangju camping restaurant where you can enjoy glamping near Seoul. There were other families with kids, just like ours, as well as couples and friends.
The menu at Topgol Chicken Stew, a camping restaurant in Yangju Jangheung Tourist Area, features a 2-person samgyeopsal set (70,000 KRW) that includes 400g of pork belly, kimchi cheese pancake, acorn jelly salad, camping ramen, and drinks.
The 2-person samgyeopsal set had so much food that even with two adults and a 15-month-old, we had leftovers. The price is reasonable, especially for a camping restaurant.
The kimchi cheese pancake was delicious, and we also enjoyed the spicy fish cake side dish and the doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) at Topgol Chicken Stew, a Yangju camping restaurant in Jangheung Tourist Area near Seoul.
The samgyeopsal came with grilling vegetables like onions, mushrooms, and sweet pumpkin, as well as lettuce wraps, making it easy to enjoy grilled pork just like at a regular Korean BBQ restaurant. The samgyeopsal set at Topgol Chicken Stew in Jangheung Tourist Area is really well put together and a great value.
We only cooked half of the included ramyeon (it was too much to eat all of it!), and we also enjoyed the fragrant tea served in a traditional teapot. I posted a story on Instagram, and a friend messaged me saying it looked like a super relaxing getaway - Topgol Chicken Stew in Jangheung Tourist Area definitely gives you that countryside camping vibe.
