Spain Club: A Taste of Spain in Lotte World Mall

Spain Club is the only Spanish restaurant among the many dining options in Lotte World Mall. It also has a branch in Itaewon, but this one is specifically Spain Club Lotte World Mall.
Location: 6th Floor, Lotte World Mall, 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul (29, Sincheon-dong)
The entrance is tucked away on the 6th floor, so I didn't even know it was there at first. You can't see it just passing by; I found out about it through a search.
The kitchen is on the right side of the entrance, and the seating area is on the left. There aren't many seats, so there's often a wait during lunch or dinner.
Here's a look at the Spain Club menu. It's quite extensive.
They have a la carte dishes, set menus, and a variety of wines.
I meticulously photographed the wine menu.
Even though I studied the menu carefully, we ended up ordering the most popular dishes...
Here are the dishes we ordered:
- Lasagna de Espanol
- Solomillo con Whisky
- Gambas al Ajillo
- Calamares a la Plancha
The first dishes to arrive were the Lasagna de Espanol and Gambas al Ajillo.
This Spanish-style lasagna is said to be loaded with cheese, and it really is! The cheese stretches out when you lift it with a fork. We ordered bread (an extra 3,000 won) to eat with the Gambas al Ajillo, but it's also delicious with the lasagna.
Gambas al Ajillo, the garlic shrimp tapas in a pot, is the Gambas that we all know and love. We ordered bread twice just to eat it with this.
Solomillo con Whisky is a sirloin pot dish with a subtle whiskey aroma. I'm not sure if the aroma was very strong, but it's meat, so it's definitely delicious.
Calamares a la Plancha is grilled squid with garlic sauce. Squid has become quite rare these days, but you can eat it here. The squid was perfectly grilled and went well with the sauce, so we ate it in no time.
Going with three people, ordering four dishes, adding bread, and drinking beverages quickly added up to over 100,000 won. It's because we ordered a lot, but the price is average for Spanish cuisine. Next time, I'm planning to visit the Yongsan branch.
