Spada: A Romantic Italian Dining Experience in Bukchon Hanok Village

Hi, everyone! It's Kkongnyang here. ㅎㅎ
Today, I'm reviewing 'Spada,' a delicious Italian restaurant near Anguk Station and Gyeongbokgung Station, perfect for dates and blind dates! ❤️
Anguk is known for its many Hanok-style (traditional Korean house) restaurants and cafes!
A friend of mine recommended this restaurant, and I had high expectations.
It was even more delicious than I expected! 🤩
📍 Spada Location
Spada
📍Address: 1st Floor, 20-3, Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
⏰ Hours: Daily 12:00-22:00, Closed every Tuesday
(Break Time: 15:00-17:30, Last Order 21:00)
A reservation is a must as there are only 5 tables in total ‼️
(We visited at 12 PM on a weekend, and most of the customers, including us, had reservations❕)
If you walk straight from Anguk Station Exit 2,
you'll see 'Jongno International Seodang'!
Turn right there, and you'll see the 'Spada' sign ☺️
This is the detached building!
Walk along the arrow, and you'll find the store!!
It seems like they renovated a Hanok.
There were a total of 4 tables + 1 in the detached building!
The detached building seems to be a space for groups of 3 or more people..!
When we were eating, all the tables were full,
and excluding the group, all the customers, including us, were couples~~!
The combination of date + Western food + Hanok is perfect for creating a great atmosphere. 🥰
The interior atmosphere is somewhat like this.
Warm atmosphere with wooden tables and plants. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Don't you think you'd succeed if you went on a blind date here? 🥰❤️
Each table is set with forks, knives, and water,
and there's a vase, which makes it feel even more like a date, hehe.
Menu
For 2 people, most people ordered a salad + 2 pasta dishes / Melanzane (eggplant dish) + 2 pasta dishes. 🙂_🙂
The portion sizes don't seem to be very large..!
Here's what we ate! 🍝🐙🍷
Special Pasta ₩32,000
Polpo Tartare ₩18,000
House wine (white) ₩13,000
Ah, we ordered 1 pasta dish and 1 small dish,
so the staff told us in advance that the portion size might be small.
Special pasta ₩32,000
It seems like the special pasta changes every time,
but when we visited, it was 'Scallop Tomato Pasta'!
I'm the type of person who thinks that eating pasta outside is a waste...
Especially tomato pasta! (My honest opinion)
But here, it wasn't the typical strong taste of store-bought sauce,
but the real tomato taste! Real fruit taste! It was so delicious. 😋
My boyfriend really likes seafood,
and he said that the shellfish was cleaned well... (I don't really know) That's what he said! lol
Not only scallops but also shrimp and clams were included, making the taste richer. 🥰
Polpo Tartare ₩18,000
'Octopus Tartare' is a combination of octopus + mashed potatoes + sun-dried tomatoes + onions, etc...
We ate it with white wine, and it was a perfect match...
They also give you crackers,
which are completely whole grain? A crispy snack,
so it went well with the octopus tartare!
Everyone eats Melanzane (eggplant dish) as a small dish, but if you really, really can't eat eggplant, I recommend octopus tartare. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
House wine (white) ₩13,000
Can't miss alcohol from noon...
I thought it was a bit expensive, but they gave a generous amount, so I drank plenty throughout the meal. ㅎㅎ
You can choose red, white, or sparkling wine by the glass,
and they say all three types are dry, so keep that in mind. 🥰
The staff said that white wine was the sweetest, but it felt even drier!
⭐Overall Review⭐
✔️I recommend it if you're looking for a Hanok-style Western restaurant suitable for blind dates and dates.❤️
✔️The portion size may be a little small, so I recommend the combination of 1 small dish + 2 main dishes!
(We ate simply because of our next schedule.. We're going to order 3 dishes next time we go. hehe🥰)
✔️Recommended if you like a small and cozy atmosphere! I was targeted by the wooden + plant interior...
However, it's best to make a reservation because there are few tables. 😇
