Sinsa Gozip: Highly Recommended Korean BBQ in Sinnonhyeon

Looking for delicious Korean BBQ in Sinnonhyeon? Look no further than Sinsa Gozip!
I recently visited Sinsa Gozip Sinnonhyeon with my sibling for dinner, and it was fantastic. They specialize in aged Korean pork, grilled over charcoal with 100% grilling service. I'd been wanting to try it for a while!
Exterior & Location
The storefront and entrance are clean and neat. The meat is proudly displayed in a showcase. It's easily accessible from Sinnonhyeon Station, exits 3 and 4, and located near the main street, making it easy to find.
Interior
The interior features booth seating with yellow cushions. The tables are spaced generously, and there's a semi-private area in the center of the restaurant. The spacious interior makes it perfect for company dinners or a comfortable gathering spot for pre-wedding parties.

Menu
Sinsa Gozip's menu offers a variety of aged Korean pork cuts. I highly recommend the Samgyeopsal (pork belly), Ogyeopsal (pork belly with skin), and Moksal (pork shoulder). They also have decent set menu options. My sibling and I ordered 3 servings of Samgyeopsal, 1 of Ogyeopsal, and 1 of Moksal, plus the flying fish roe fried rice. We ate everything!
Samgyeopsal/Moksal: 18,000 KRW
Ogyeopsal: 20,000 KRW
Flying Fish Roe Fried Rice: 11,000 KRW
They have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including soju, beer, highballs, and makgeolli, as well as various wines.

Side Dishes
The basic side dishes are neatly presented on a tray. The beautiful arrangement makes for great photos. It's easy to mix and match to your liking.
The selection includes white kimchi, myeongi namul (garlic leaves), pa kimchi (scallion kimchi), wasabi, whole grain mustard, salt, ssamjang (soybean paste), garlic sauce, salted pollock roe, and meljeot (fermented anchovy sauce).

Grilling Service
What sets Sinsa Gozip apart is definitely its 100% grilling service. The meat is pre-grilled and then cooked directly over charcoal by the staff.

Perfectly grilled!
The juices explode in your mouth!
So delicious.

Gozip's Recommended Combinations
The restaurant provides a guide to their recommended combinations, so I tried them all.
First, a touch of salt.
A classic.
The juices burst out, and the savory flavor of the pork belly is amazing.
Grilled white kimchi and whole-grain mustard for a refreshing bite!
White kimchi and pa kimchi combination.
It isn't greasy with the meat and keeps you going back for more!!
Salted pollock roe and garlic sauce (JMT - 존맛탱, Korean slang for 'so delicious')
So delicious.
The classic combination: myeongi namul + ssamjang.
The ssamjang seems homemade and goes so well with the myeongi namul.
Dipping it in meljeot adds a spicy and savory flavor.
It enhances the rich flavor of the fat while cutting through any greasiness.
So, so delicious.

The Ogyeopsal is on the left, and the Moksal is on the right. The Ogyeopsal has the skin attached, making it chewy and flavorful. The Moksal was savory and delicious. Grilling the meat over charcoal added a wonderful smoky flavor!

You can tell the meat is high quality just by looking at it.

Flying Fish Roe Fried Rice
The flying fish roe fried rice is topped with cheese and seaweed flakes, making it visually appealing.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the fried rice, but it was so delicious that I ate it all...

Look at that cheese pull!!

While eating the fried rice, we ordered an additional 2 servings of Samgyeopsal to eat with it.

Topped it and ate it in one bite!
I'm a food connoisseur.
Definitely order the flying fish roe fried rice!!
It's so good!!

The power of aged Korean pork is evident here.
The charcoal flavor and grilling perfection are outstanding.
I think it's the perfect place for those looking for a company dinner venue in Sinnonhyeon.
You can also make reservations through Catch Table, so keep that in mind!
If you're craving Samgyeopsal in Sinnonhyeon,
I highly recommend this place.
100% intention to revisit.
I'll definitely visit again!
