My Own Money, My Own Review: Shabu All Day's Second Location

Seoul Sinnae Branch - A Little Disappointing?

Shabu All Day Seoul Sinnae Branch

Shabu All Day Seoul Sinnae Branch

Address: 227 Bonghwasan-ro, Jungnang-gu, Seoul

⏰ Operating Hours: 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM

(Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Parking: Available in front of the building

In my previous post, I introduced Shabu All Day Seoul Cheonho Branch.

The day before, my partner and I visited the Cheonho branch, but my parents wanted to go again, so we visited the Seoul Sinnae branch. This is my review.

Parking available.

Shabu All Day Seoul Sinnae Branch is in a detached building.

You can park in the parking space right in front.

On Sunday lunch, there were many cars, so we double-parked.

It was crowded, but not too inconvenient.

‼️ The store isn't very spacious.

Compared to the Seoul Cheonho branch I visited before,

the interior isn't very large.

The seat spacing felt tighter.

Price and Broth Information

I didn't realize it when I ate at the Seoul Cheonho branch,

but premium broth costs an additional ₩3,000 per person.

Since I enjoyed the broth at Seoul Cheonho branch,

Signature Brisket Broth + Sichuan Mala Broth

Vegetable Corner

The Seoul Cheonho branch was larger and had a buffet-style setup,

but the Seoul Sinnae branch was like a vegetable corner in a Malatang restaurant.

There were many people and lots of different types of vegetables, which made it inconvenient to grab vegetables because the traffic flow overlapped.

Still, they were trying to keep the vegetables fresh.

Side Dishes

The side dishes were similar to the Seoul Cheonho branch.

Fortunately, the chicken and fried foods were crispier.

It seemed like it depended on the turnover rate and time.

Salad & Fruit Corner

The salad and fruit corner was also similar.

The mangoes were tasty and the other salads were fresh.

Meat

There were three types of meat: brisket, pork shoulder, and sirloin.

Except for the brisket, the meat quality was disappointing...ㅜㅜ

The presentation and freshness were a bit lacking.

But there weren't any obvious problems or unpleasant smells.

Porridge

The last course of shabu-shabu is porridge, right?

At the Seoul Cheonho branch, it was prepared with plastic wrap,

but at the Seoul Sinnae branch, you had to ask the staff separately.

The fried rice itself wasn't bad,

but it was more inconvenient than getting it yourself.

Dessert

Finally, the dessert zone.

The desserts were the most disappointing.

The vanilla ice cream was too weak and bland.

The chocolate fondue was okay, but the hygiene wasn't great.

I'll replace it with photos,,

Shabu All Day Seoul Sinnae Branch

⭕️ The shabu-shabu vegetables are fresh.

⭕️ The sides were warm.

❌ The store was too hot,, I wasn't the only one who felt that way,,

❌ I felt the freshness of the meat was lacking.

❌ The service from the part-time staff was also disappointing,,

Usually, when the food you ordered comes out or they bring it,

they tell you the food is ready,

but they just took it or gave it to you without saying anything.

(I guess they were tired because there were so many people ㅜㅜ)

Since I went to the Seoul Cheonho branch the day before,

I was able to compare the different branches well.

The Seoul Sinnae branch may have been too crowded,

but I hope it improves.
