During my recent trip to Jeju Island, I visited Haemaru, a seafood restaurant in Seongsan. From the outside, it had the strong impression of a local culinary institution.

The panoramic ocean view filled me with pleasant anticipation even before the meal began.

The table setting, generously filled with various seafood dishes, further heightened my expectations.

Overall, the atmosphere was clean and simple, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I'd like to introduce my experience.

Restaurant Name: Jeju Seongsan Haemaru & Ssamchongsa Raw Fish Restaurant

Upon arrival, a large signboard displayed the restaurant's signature dishes, making it easy to see what they specialize in. The large yellow sign is hard to miss.

The front view showcases the ocean and building at a glance, capturing the essence of Jeju. The surrounding area is open and easily accessible.

Thanks to the weather, the sky and scenery were exceptionally clear. Just looking at it, I could feel the vacation atmosphere.

The restaurant's exterior features large windows, creating a bright and inviting ambiance. Convenient parking makes it easily accessible.

The table setting was well-prepared with a balanced assortment of sashimi, fried foods, and side dishes. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the composition.

The tables were spaced generously, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The variety of side dishes made it great to enjoy different combinations at this Seongsan seafood restaurant.

The basic side dishes were neatly presented, creating a pleasant first impression. They paired so well with the main dishes that I even asked for refills.

The tempura was crispy and flavorful from the first bite. It wasn't greasy, so I kept reaching for more.

Dipping it in soy sauce enhanced the savory flavor. It also paired well with the other fried items.

The crab was moist and tender, indicating its freshness. Eating it with the sauce brought out a burst of flavor.

Each piece was well-coated in the sauce and melted in my mouth. It was flavorful enough to enjoy without rice.

The shrimp was perfectly fried and evenly coated in sauce, creating a balance of sweet and savory flavors. The texture was plump and delightful.

The shrimp looked incredibly appetizing with its glossy sheen. The subtle aroma heightened my anticipation at this Seongsan seafood restaurant.

Each piece of soy sauce marinated shrimp offered a simultaneous taste of saltiness and tenderness. It wasn't too salty, so I could enjoy it without rice.

The sushi rice was formed into small portions, making it the perfect accompaniment to the sashimi. The seasoning was mild, allowing for a clean taste.

The flounder sashimi had a firm, chewy texture, immediately conveying its freshness. With each bite, a subtle ocean scent arose.

Each slice of sashimi had clearly defined layers, indicating its quality. It paired well with both gochujang (chili paste) and soy sauce, making it irresistible.

The combination of rice and sashimi created a harmonious blend of savory and rich flavors. It's a flavor combination that anyone would enjoy.

Wrapping the sashimi in lettuce added a smooth contrast in texture, making it even more refreshing. At this Seongsan seafood restaurant, it would also pair well with ssamjang (soybean paste) or onions, depending on your preference.

Eating the sashimi on its own allowed the pure, clean flavor to shine through. The thin slices made it easy to enjoy continuously.

Enjoying it with gochujang added a refreshing twist, enhancing the overall flavor. The sashimi was so fresh that it paired effortlessly with any sauce.

The baeksuk (chicken soup) had a deep, rich flavor in both the meat and broth, making it very satisfying. The hot broth was especially comforting.

The chicken was cooked until tender and juicy. The broth was clean and refreshing, making me want to keep drinking it.

The accompanying dishes enhanced the entire meal. The refreshing flavors made it easy for anyone to enjoy.

A sip of cold alcohol provided a clean and refreshing finish. It paired well with the main dishes, making it a pleasant experience.

From seafood and tempura to baeksuk, the progression of dishes was abundant and excellent.

The sashimi was incredibly fresh, creating a seamless harmony with all the dishes. The clean finish made me want to visit this Seongsan seafood restaurant again.
