Seochon Kalguksu Menu
As the name suggests, Seochon Kalguksu offers various types of Kalguksu and Sujebi!
We ordered the White Kalguksu, Red Kalguksu, and Potato Pancake!
The side dishes are reasonably priced, and the dumplings come in a portion size that's perfect for one person. It's easy to order Kalguksu + a side dish even if you're dining alone.
Additional side dishes are self-serve, so you can help yourself at the self-serve zone if you need more!
Sejongssi ordered the White Kalguksu!
The Kalguksu is generously filled with yubu (tofu skin) pockets, shrimp, clams, and other seafood!
And the broth contains dried pollack, giving it a refreshing and savory flavor!
They make their own noodles, and they were so chewy and bouncy!
I especially loved the Sujebi!
The thin Sujebi pieces absorbed the flavors of the broth perfectly!
They even give you gum with your Kalguksu!
Having gum after Kalguksu is such a thoughtful touch! It's perfect for a date course.
I ordered the Red Kalguksu!
Think of it as the White Kalguksu with added chili powder!
Like the White Kalguksu, it's packed with seafood, giving it a refreshing and spicy flavor!
I especially loved the Sujebi... so delicious!
And you know a Kalguksu restaurant has to have good kimchi!!
Seochon Kalguksu's fresh kimchi is the key point!
The spicy, sweet, and refreshing fresh kimchi went so well with the Kalguksu, and I love kimchi so much!
I refilled it twice!! Kimchi is a must.
The yubu pockets were filled with something like mochi instead of glass noodles,
which gave it an interesting texture!
The potato pancake we ordered as a side was also large in size
Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! The potato pancake lover, Sejongssi, ate it all up...
I highly recommend the potato pancake! It would be perfect to come to Seochon Kalguksu on a rainy day and order a bowl of Kalguksu and a pancake with makgeolli (Korean rice wine)!
To finish, I had a piece of Eve gum, which I haven't seen in a while! haha
I highly recommend Seochon Kalguksu, a clean and affordable Seochon restaurant!
