Romantic Seafood Noodle Soup near Jeju Airport

If you're looking for a hearty meal right after arriving in Jeju or before heading back home, I recommend a fantastic restaurant near Jeju Airport: Romantic Bomal Kalguksu.
Here, you can enjoy a delicious bowl of Bomal Juk (sea snail porridge) and Kalguksu (handmade noodles) made with fresh ingredients at great value. The rich and deep flavors are truly exceptional, so make sure to stop by. The ocean view from the restaurant is also stunning!
1. A Romantic Restaurant by the Sea
Located just a 5-minute drive from the airport, Romantic Bomal Kalguksu specializes in dishes featuring Bomal, a local delicacy referring to sea snails. Known for their chewy texture and savory flavor, these fresh Jeju seafood ingredients are prepared with care. They only use freshly cleaned Bomal, ensuring top quality.
Upon arrival, parking is available in front of the restaurant or in the designated area behind it. Once you step out of your car, you'll be greeted by a beautiful view of the sea, embodying the romantic atmosphere the restaurant promises.
✔ Location: 612 Seohaean-ro, Jeju City, 1st and 2nd floors
✔ Parking: Private parking available
✔ Operating Hours: Daily from 8 AM to 4 PM (last order at 3:30 PM)
2. Clean Interior & Fantastic View
The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with thorough hygiene practices that make you feel safe while dining. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the pleasant dining experience.
3. Diverse Menu
In addition to Jeju Bomal Kalguksu and Bomal Juk, the menu features various dishes such as sea urchin noodles, raw fish salad, seafood pancakes, and more, all showcasing the best of Jeju's seafood.
We opted for a set for two, which included Jeju Bomal Juk, Bomal Kalguksu, seafood pancakes, and a soft drink. The combination was delightful and offered great value at 40,000 KRW, considering the generous portions.
4. Neatly Prepared Side Dishes & Crispy Pancakes
While waiting with a view of the sea, our table was soon filled with a delightful spread. The four simple side dishes complemented the main offerings perfectly, especially the kimchi, which was refreshingly crisp.
5. A Feast of Bomal Dishes
The Bomal Juk was warm and soothing, with each grain of rice infused with the nutty flavor of Bomal. This dish was entirely different from abalone porridge, and the absence of any fishy smell made it kid-friendly.
Alongside the Bomal Juk, the Bomal Kalguksu was served in a large pot, allowing us to enjoy it warm throughout our meal. The rich broth was flavorful, and my husband was so taken with it that he finished off the broth directly from the bowl!
Overall, Bomal is a treasure of the sea, rich in protein, making it an excellent choice for a nutritious meal before or after your trip to Jeju. I highly recommend making it your first or last meal on your journey.
