Rejuvenating Samgyetang and Baeksuk at Hoebok Chamotdak in Suncheon

Hello!
Today, I'm going to write a review about my experience at Hoebok Chamotdak, a restaurant famous for Samgyetang and Baeksuk in Suncheon!
Hoebok Chamotdak in Suncheon uses 13 different medicinal herbs, including Phellinus linteus and Chaga mushrooms, to create their healthy Samgyetang, Dakbaeksuk (chicken stew), and Ori Baeksuk (duck stew), which are known for boosting immunity and vitality.
They also offer Ot Samgyetang, Ot Baeksuk (옻닭), and Ot Ori Baeksuk, made with oak tree broth simmered for 24 hours, providing an even deeper flavor!
If you dine in, you'll receive fried ginseng as a service!
Also, the side dishes are made with agricultural products from the owner's grandparents and maternal grandfather, who farm them themselves!
Let's take a look at some photos! The color of the Ot Samgyetang is really rich!!
The fried ginseng is also substantial!

I'm also sharing a good cafe to visit together!
So, let's check out the location and information right away!

First, here are the basic side dishes! All are homemade and delicious!
Herbal Samgyetang & Ot Samgyetang

The Herbal Samgyetang is on the left, and the Ot Samgyetang is on the right!
The Herbal Samgyetang has a clearer broth than the Ot Samgyetang!
And you can eat it really hot.
The chicken is filled with glutinous rice!
Dipping the tender chicken in salt is absolutely delicious!
There's also a generous amount of chicken!

Next is the Ot Samgyetang.
It's made with oak tree broth simmered for 24 hours, giving it an even deeper flavor!

Here's the fried ginseng that you can try if you dine in!

The ginseng is plump, and it has a unique taste when fried!
I enjoyed the meal today too!
