The Best Restaurant to Replenish Your Body During Chobok (Beginning of Summer)

Naneungi Neungi Mushroom Baeksuk Naechon Branch

Naneungi Neungi Mushroom Baeksuk Naechon Branch

Parking: In front of the restaurant and along the road

Business Hours: 10:30 AM ~ 9:00 PM

Did you know that Chobok in 2025 is July 20th?

Today's review is about Naneungi Neungi Mushroom Baeksuk Naechon, which I visited with my family for Chobok!

Because it's so close to the road, here's the official Naver photo instead

Menu

Neungi Duck (Whole): 80,000 won (Half: 43,000 won)

Neungi Chicken Baeksuk (Whole): 78,000 won (Half: 42,000 won)

Neungi Chicken Stew: 78,000 won

Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup): 15,000 won

Spicy Duck Soup: 13,000 won

There are several branches in Seoul,

but my parents have only taken me to the Naechon branch since I was young.

They say it's tastier here and has more mushrooms?

Interesting image

Normally, if you call in advance, they start boiling the duck 30 minutes beforehand,

but since it was Chobok, they said we could just come.

There's a private room that can accommodate about 20 people,

and the main hall is very spacious, so many people can eat there.

As it's a hot dish, the air conditioning was nice and cool~

Today's Order

Neungi Duck (One and a Half): 123,000 won

Side Dishes and Sticky Rice

Impressive sight

The side dishes are seasoned to complement the baeksuk,

and the sticky rice that comes as a side is also really delicious.

Special Moment

I'm at the age where I'm starting to like jujubes and ginkgo nuts,

but even excluding those, the savory sticky rice is so charming.

Half Order of Neungi Duck

Peaceful scenery

Since there were five of us, two people shared a half order.

Maybe it's because it's duck instead of chicken, but it feels plumper and more generous, haha.

It definitely feels like it's been simmered for a long time,

and the meat is tender and chewy because it's duck.

Peaceful scenery

There was so much, though... I got full just eating the meat.

Neck bone and Neungi mushrooms

The neck bone is so big, need I say more??

Valuable experience

One of the best things is that there's no gamey smell.

Amazing sight

Duck usually has a strong gamey smell,

so it's usually made into spicy duck soup or grilled.

But here, there are so many Neungi mushrooms

that I don't even think about the smell, and it feels like I'm getting healthier.

Naneungi Neungi Mushroom Baeksuk Naechon Branch

✔️ Neungi Mushroom Duck Baeksuk with no gamey smell

✔️ Private rooms are available, so you can make reservations!

✔️ The portions are generous, and the meat is tender.

✔️ Chewy sticky rice and side dishes with the right amount of seasoning

✔️ Eating Neungi mushrooms together completes the health recovery!

Awesome picture

Today, I'm reviewing Naneungi Neungi Mushroom Baeksuk Naechon, which I've been going to for a long time.

Chobok has already passed, but there are still Jungbok and Malbok (the middle and last days of summer),

so I recommend visiting and trying this delicious restaurant!
