Hello, this is Yeongyeonggori! πŸ‘‹

Feeling drained from the summer heat and sweating a lot? I know the feeling!

I recently visited Oedo, near Iho Beach, to revitalize myself with a bowl of healthy Galbitang (Korean beef short rib soup)!

I went to Jeju Naerimak Oedo Branch.

Business Hours: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Closed on Mondays)

Address: 1st floor, 18, Ujeong-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

Exterior

Jeju Naerimak in Oedo is easy to find as it's located right on the main street.

Plus, there's a parking lot and a public parking lot right next door, so you don't have to worry about parking!

It's right in front of the traffic light!

Interior

The interior is more spacious than I expected, and the tables are spaced generously.

It doesn't feel cramped at all, and the large windows provide a refreshing sense of openness.

Overall, the interior felt very spacious and pleasant! I visited a little before lunchtime on the weekend, and there were already many people dining there. πŸ˜€

There are tables near the entrance too!

Menu

Jeju Naerimak is originally famous for its Gopchang Gui (grilled beef small intestine) and Gopchang Jeongol (beef small intestine hot pot).

I should come back in the evening for Gopchang Jeongol with drinks! ><

The Galbitang costs β‚©14,000, and you get a β‚©1,000 discount if you take it to go!

Food

The basic side dishes are kimchi, radish kimchi, and pickled radish.

There's a self-service bar, so you can get more side dishes as you like!

The Galbitang I ordered arrived, and the earthenware pot was filled with several large beef short ribs!

There was a lot of meat around the bones!

The large ribs were covered with thick pieces of meat, and just looking at it, I could tell it was a generous portion.

It was the first time I'd seen Galbitang with so much meat!,,

The broth of Jeju Naerimak's Galbitang in Oedo was clear yet rich in flavor, with no gamey smell at all!

The seasoning was perfect, complementing the meat very well. γ…Ž-γ…Ž

Doesn't it look like you could get full just eating the meat?!

The meat texture wasn't tough at all and was very tender.

I could easily pick it off with tongs. It was savory and flavorful, and the right amount of fat increased the nutty flavor when eaten with the broth. γ…Ž.γ…Ž

You can dip the meat in the soy sauce that comes with it.

Also, bean sprouts are placed on top of the ribs,

which added a crunchy texture and made it great to eat with the meat.

Putting the meat on top of white rice and eating it with the broth

creates a harmonious blend of rich meat flavor and savory broth. 😊

Try revitalizing yourself at Jeju Naerimak Oedo Branch, famous for its Gopchang Jeongol and Galbitang!
