President Samgyupsal: The Perfect Venue for a Gangnam Invitation Gathering

Right after work, I headed to the Gangnam Station meeting place for a wedding invitation get-together. It was conveniently located near Sinnonhyeon Station.
It's a place I already know, where you can enjoy both beef and pork at affordable prices.
Known for its excellent taste and service, I personally find it more satisfying to have dinner and drinks here than to meet at similar restaurants every time, so I'm sharing this information with you.
President Samgyupsal, the place we visited, has parking spaces in front of the store, making it easy to get to by car.
As soon as I entered the store, I noticed the interior decorated with bamboo. The pork they sell here is aged in bamboo.
The interior was impressive and matched the menu perfectly. The place was clean, and the ventilation system was well-equipped, which was great.
Further inside, there's a great space for group gatherings, which I think is one of the reasons why it's so popular for company dinners.
Actually, a friend of mine said they chose this place for their Gangnam Station invitation gathering because of this layout, and they had nothing but praise for the food.
The pork in the refrigerator was hygienically stored, and they brought it out right after we ordered, so we didn't have to wait long to continue our meal, which was great.
A popular menu item for Gangnam Station invitation gatherings is the set menu, where you can taste various cuts of meat together. With the discount, it wasn't too expensive to order.
The cube steak, cut into neat squares, had a good balance of fat, so when grilled lightly, the juices just burst out.
The thinly sliced brisket (chadolbagi), served with bean sprouts, was tender and easy to eat. The bean sprouts, stir-fried in oil, cleansed the palate, making it a perfect match.
They also provided several kinds of sauces, especially the herring roe sauce, which was savory and salty, making the meat even more delicious.
Moreover, at this Gangnam Station invitation gathering spot, the staff grilled all the meat for us, so we could just relax, eat, and chat comfortably.
Lightly grilled beef with just a touch of salt was flavorful. I could tell they used high-quality meat that was good to chew on.
The chadolbagi cooked instantly on the grill. Eating it with bean sprouts added a variety of textures, so the meal flowed seamlessly, and I naturally wanted to have a drink.
There were even three kinds of salt to choose from, so I could pick according to my personal taste. I thought this was a great advantage, and the grains were all different.
The beef tartare (yukhoe) came with sweet pear, which added a crunchy and refreshing flavor. The yukhoe used a lean cut of meat, so it was a satisfying combination.
Eating the cool yukhoe after the grilled meat was refreshing and allowed me to enjoy a clean, savory flavor, so I couldn't stop using my chopsticks.
Next up was the popular pork menu item for Gangnam Station invitation gatherings. One was aged as is, and the other was pre-cooked. Eating them alternately allowed me to enjoy both flavors.
The samgyupsal was also grilled perfectly for us. We ate the pre-grilled beef while waiting, so the meal flowed smoothly. It was a completely different style, so I was satisfied that I could enjoy everything at once.
Especially when I wrapped the meat with various ingredients in lettuce, the satisfaction of a full mouth made me give a thumbs up. I sent endless praise to my friend who chose this place for our Gangnam Station invitation gathering.
Enjoying Daenip Sul (bamboo leaf wine) with its fragrant bamboo scent was also nice. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages available, so keep that in mind.
After eating the main meat dishes, we cleansed our palates with seafood kalguksu (noodle soup). The broth was rich and spicy, and it felt like it was curing my light hangover.
The savory broth went well with the noodles, and I could feel that the dish itself was high quality. Eating it with a piece of kimchi made it go down effortlessly.
You can also add rice to the leftover broth, which is also good. They add a surprisingly variety of toppings, so you can enjoy picking out everything from crab to clams. It's worth the money.
For those who want to cleanse their palate with something cool, I recommend the naengmyeon (cold noodles). They serve it in a large bowl with cucumbers, eggs, and pickled radish attractively arranged.
The seasoning was packed with sesame seeds, giving it a deep, savory flavor. They also added broth, so the noodles weren't dry when mixed and went down smoothly.
Even if I was full, I couldn't easily put down my chopsticks when I ate it with the leftover meat. It was a satisfying way to end the meal.
This was my first time using a Korean BBQ restaurant as a Gangnam Station invitation gathering place, but it was more comfortable and had more delicious food than strange restaurants. I'll definitely recommend it to my other friends.
