Do you have a favorite hidden gem cafe in Seogwipo? I recently found one during my trip to Jeju: Witch's Hill, a cafe that captures the breathtaking scenery of Jeju. Just being there felt like a healing experience, so I want to share it with you.
1. Refreshing Sea View from the Hill
The cafe is situated on a hill, ensuring unobstructed views of the sea from every angle, making it a visually stunning place to relax.
2. Convenient Parking Facilities
While exploring cafes in Seogwipo, I noticed that parking can be challenging. However, this cafe offers ample parking, which is a significant advantage, especially for those renting cars.
3. Affordable and Thoughtful Brunch
During breakfast hours, you can enjoy a brunch buffet by making a reservation via Naver, with prices ranging from 10,000 KRW on weekdays to slightly higher on weekends, making it a great value.
4. Pet-Friendly Space
Another highlight is the designated area for pets, allowing you to enjoy the cafe with your furry friends. It’s a wonderful spot for dog lovers!
Upon entering, I was greeted by a spacious interior with large windows that provided an overwhelming view of the surroundings. Breakfast was available starting just before 9 AM with a delightful aroma that made my feet quicken.
As we dined, we noticed many other guests enjoying their meals, including those staying at the adjacent Witch's Hill Pension, who came for breakfast.
The first dish that caught my eye was a fresh salad with a variety of dressings to choose from. The vegetables were vibrant and fresh, giving me confidence in my breakfast choice.
We started with a soft omelet and soup, followed by warm sausages and a special chef's steak!
Enjoying our meal by the window while gazing at the sparkling sea in the morning sun was truly a delightful experience.
Coffee and drinks were included in the buffet, featuring aromatic drip coffee and freshly squeezed citrus juice, which made for a perfect start to the day.
After a leisurely meal, we took a stroll along the nearby walking paths, which offered beautiful views and a refreshing breeze.
After our walk, we relaxed on the terrace, which felt like a magical photo spot just by sitting there.
Exploring the cafe further, we found a cozy second-floor space ideal for couples, perfect for enjoying a moment together or having some quiet time alone.
The cafe offers various seating options across three floors, accommodating both small groups and larger gatherings comfortably.
The rooftop, shown in the photos, is a lovely spot to relax under the warm sun during spring and autumn, with plenty of terrace seating available.
After our walk, we ordered some drinks that featured local Jeju flavors, enhancing our cafe experience.
I tried a latte made with homemade Hallabong and strawberry marmalade. While I’ve had many strawberry lattes, the Hallabong latte was surprisingly refreshing and paired perfectly with milk.
Witch's Hill Cafe is not just a place to grab a drink or meal; it’s an experience that offers a serene atmosphere with stunning views of Hallasan Mountain and the ocean. I highly recommend visiting for a relaxing brunch during your Jeju trip.
