Finally found my go-to spot in Hapjeong!

Noir Whiskey Bar

Whenever I'm looking for a bar with a good atmosphere in Hapjeong, I always struggle to choose. But Noir Hapjeong is definitely a place that sticks in my mind.

It's not just a place to drink,

but a combination of great food and drinks,

with a stylish wood interior and soft music playing.

Plus, the owner's attention to detail

makes for a really relaxing experience.

Hapjeong Whiskey Bar

Noir

Seoul, Mapo-gu, Seogyo-dong 396-31 3F

Hours: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Last Order 1:00 AM)

(Closed on Mondays)

My first drink: Mojito

Price: ₩10,000

I've been drinking a lot of Mojitos lately because it's summer,

and this one was cool and refreshing - perfect for a first drink.

Noir Hapjeong is run by a male owner on his own,

and he always makes sure you have everything you need.

He checks in regularly, which made me feel really comfortable.

He chats briefly,

but it's not overbearing, and he's very friendly, which I liked.

A great Hapjeong whiskey bar for enjoying a drink alone,

or chatting with friends.

They offer complimentary snacks and a welcome drink (wine),

and even thoughtful touches like ice water.

The attention to detail is amazing!

The bar is easily accessible near Hapjeong Station,

and there's a public parking lot right next door, so it's easy to drive. Inside, the low lighting creates a warm atmosphere, and the soft music enhances the drinking experience.

They have a wide variety of drinks and food,

so you can choose something

to match your mood or

the occasion.

That's what's so great about it.

The first thing I ordered was the Steak Oil Pasta.

Price: ₩22,000

Dreamlike moment

Unlike regular oil pasta,

it was topped with a generous amount of thick chuck flap steak,

so it felt more like a

hearty main course than just a pasta dish.

I was surprised by the amount of meat,

and when I mixed the oil sauce with the noodles, meat,

and vegetables, the flavors exploded in my mouth. The portion was also more generous than pasta dishes I've had at other places, so I was satisfied that I could enjoy it by myself and still feel full.

Mojito highly recommended!

The refreshing mint and lime flavors cleansed my palate, making it a great match for the pasta.

You can see the care they put into the interior details everywhere.

The prices are also a big plus.

Whiskey prices are about 30% cheaper than other establishments, so you can try a variety of drinks without breaking the bank.

Especially since even soju, which is commonly drunk, is offered at a reasonable price of ₩5,000 a bottle,

it felt like a bar that anyone could enjoy comfortably.

Thanks to these prices, customers naturally flock there in the evening, creating a lively atmosphere. The atmosphere is sophisticated, but the prices are realistic.

These two things work well together,

so I thought it was 'a place that's bound to be loved in Hapjeong for a long time.'

That's what I call a good find!

For your information, they have a soju refrigerator so the soju is super cold.

If you mix it well, the oil will soak in better,

so you can enjoy it even more.

Here's a tip!

I want to eat it again.

They'll refill your ice water whenever you need it.

Great atmosphere.

It's on the 3rd floor, but there's an elevator, so

it wasn't inconvenient at all.

The space itself is also appealing.

There's also bar seating,

so it didn't feel awkward at all to sit alone.

The soft lighting

made the photos look great.

As the atmosphere warmed up, I chose a whiskey.

I chose Knob Creek.

Price: ₩10,000

The first thing I tasted was the nutty peanut flavor. I liked the strong but solid feel, and the smooth finish was impressive.

Peaceful scenery

The bathroom is also clean,

and they even have mouthwash, hand sanitizer, and hair ties!

If you want to enjoy day drinking,

you need to make a reservation.

It's such a busy place in the evening that it's best to contact them in advance if you want to visit during the day when it's quieter.

Owner-made cocktail,

named Wildflower.

Price: ₩12,000

Wild Turkey 101 was used as the cocktail base,

giving it a smooth yet intense feeling.

It wasn't a common cocktail, which made it even more memorable.

My last drink was a classic Long Island Iced Tea.

Price: ₩10,000

Peaceful scenery

Even though it contained tequila

and a mix of different liquors, it blended harmoniously, allowing me to continue my enjoyable drinking session until the end.

Even the menu is pretty.

Cocktail options range

from Hendrick's Gin & Tonic for ₩8,000

to Godfather, Faust, and Catharsis.

It's concise but only has the necessary items

making it easier to choose.

I'm happy there's a place like this near Hapjeong Station.

I heard they just opened 3 months ago,

cocktail prices are cheap,

and the pasta portions are generous, so I was very satisfied.

I'll definitely be back 30000%!

Peaceful scenery
