My Visit to Suyeon Best Pork Rice Soup in Gwangalli, Busan (Paid by Me!)

✅ A Personal Visit (Paid for by Me!)
When traveling to Busan, one dish you absolutely can't miss is pork rice soup (Dwaeji Gukbap)!
During my recent trip to Gwangalli with friends, we visited Suyeon Best Pork Rice Soup (Gwangalli branch), famous for its long waiting lines. After experiencing it myself, I now understand why it's so popular!

✔️ Reservations via CatchTable are a must!
This place is so popular that there's always a massive wait. When we arrived, there were a whopping 145 teams ahead of us! Thankfully, I had made a reservation in advance using CatchTable, so we were able to enter immediately without any waiting.
💡 Tip: Be sure to make a reservation through CatchTable before visiting! If you go without a reservation, you'll likely have to wait at least 1-2 hours! Highly recommended for those with a tight travel itinerary.
✔️ Exterior & Parking
The exterior has a modern and clean feel. There's always a long line of people in front of the entrance.

There's a dedicated parking lot, but it's small, so it fills up quickly! Be aware that there's a notice stating that illegal parking will be charged ₩10,000 per hour.
✔️ Interior & Self-Serve Bar
The interior was clean with neatly arranged tables, and it was packed with customers!
The self-serve bar had kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), chives, garlic, and peppers, so you could take as much as you needed.

✔️ Menu & Prices
The main menu is various types of rice soup, starting from ₩10,000, including Hangjeong Pork Rice Soup (₩13,000), Intestine Rice Soup, Sundae (Korean Sausage) Rice Soup, and Mixed Rice Soup.
They also offer side dishes like Suyuk (boiled pork slices), Hangjeong Suyuk, and Sundae, which would be a great combination with the rice soup and a drink!

✔️ Basic Side Dishes
Kimchi, kkakdugi, salted shrimp, seasoned sauce, garlic, peppers, and the essential chives for pork rice soup are all set out!
You can refill from the self-serve bar as much as you like, so you can enjoy it to your heart's content.

✔️ Hangjeong Pork Rice Soup
I ordered the Hangjeong Pork Rice Soup (₩13,000)!
The broth was milky and rich, yet clean, and had a savory, umami flavor without any unpleasant smells!
In particular, it was generously filled with Hangjeong pork, so I could fully enjoy the chewy and savory texture.
Adding plenty of chives made the broth even more refreshing and brought out the flavor even more!

✅ Overall Review
✔️ The wait can be long, but you can enjoy it comfortably with a CatchTable reservation.
✔️ The broth is clean, and the meat is plentiful.
✔️ Open 24 hours, so you can have a satisfying meal anytime.
If you want to taste authentic pork rice soup in Gwangalli, Busan, I highly recommend Suyeon Best Pork Rice Soup (Gwangalli branch)!
