My All-Time Favorite Conveyor Belt Sushi: A Place I Almost Didn't Want to Share!

I almost didn't want to reveal this place, but here I am, sharing my absolute favorite conveyor belt sushi restaurant – one I visit again and again and again!
Hello everyone! How is it already the weekend????
Today, I'm introducing you to my ultimate sushi spot.
I kind of don't want it to get too popular, but also, I secretly hope lots of people discover it.
So, here it is: My go-to, repeat-visit, absolute-favorite sushi restaurant,
Introducing Heiroku Sushi!
Heiroku Sushi Jamsil
📍 Lotte World Mall B1, 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul
⏰ Hours: 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM
🚗 Parking: Lotte World Mall
<Store Information>
Located on B1 of Lotte World Mall, near the food court entrance in front of the MUJI store.
Seating:
- Tables (4 tables for 4 people)
- Bar Seating (6 seats)
There isn't much seating so there's usually a wait.
If the wait is too long, you can also enjoy their sushi in the common area with a set menu to eat there, but I highly recommend eating at the conveyor belt if you can!
<Getting a Table>
You can do remote check-in through Catch Table Jamsil.
For reference, I waited 66 minutes on this day.
But, I wasn't even mad...
It's my all-time favorite sushi place, so I can handle that!
The table setting is really simple.
They provide miso soup, wasabi, soy sauce, and a brush for applying soy sauce to your sushi.
Now, let's dive into the food!
1. Asahi Draft Beer (420ml)
First things first, I ordered a draft beer. 🍻
And... seriously, it's SO good!!!
Many places sell Kirin draft beer, but I haven't seen such smooth foam anywhere else.
This place is a real beer 맛집 (delicious restaurant), I admit it.
Okay, let me focus a bit.
Of course, I'm going to eat whatever I want, but I still need to keep the price per plate in mind.
2. 5-Star Recommendations
Halibut + Sea Urchin Sushi (₩8,800) / Halibut + Myeongyi Namul (Garlic Mustard) Sushi (₩5,600)
The rich, savory sea urchin and the refreshing myeongyi namul are a perfect combination with the chewy halibut!
It's partly because the halibut itself is delicious, but each ingredient is so fresh and generous.
Otoro (Fatty Tuna) Sushi (₩7,700) / Tuna Belly Button Sushi (₩8,800)
This time, it's a tuna collection.
Since it's tuna, it's pretty fatty.
Both sushi just melt in your mouth.
You know that feeling, but it's hard to describe.
Eel Sushi (₩5,600)
Lastly, the eel sushi.
I always get at least one plate of this every time I come.
Even my partner, who doesn't particularly like eel, always orders it because there's no fishy smell and the sauce isn't overpowering, so it's delicious.
3. 4.5-Star Recommendations
Grilled Mero (₩8,800) / Cheese Scallop Sushi (₩4,900)
I could honestly give the grilled mero a 5-star rating.
I love grilled fish, so I order it every time, and even my partner, who doesn't eat it often, says it's delicious!
The cheese scallop sushi is exactly what you'd expect: chewy scallops with the richness of cheese and the spiciness of chili – a combination that lets you experience it all at once.
Halibut + Aged Kimchi Sushi (₩5,600) / Ankimo (Monkfish Liver) Gunkan (₩2,800)
The halibut + aged kimchi combination is my partner's finishing sushi.
They say it cleanses their palate, so they always end with this sushi.
The ankimo gunkan comes with 2 pieces, and I forgot to take a picture of one of them.
The rich and clean flavor of the ankimo is just delicious, period.
Eating is done...
I was happy...
<Bonus Menu>
Since I was eating from the conveyor belt sushi, there are more menu items that I couldn't try.
So, I'm showing you a bit of the menu in case you're curious~
Heiroku Sushi Jamsil
❣️ The owner's ultimate favorite sushi place, the one they keep coming back to.
❣️ Honestly, even giving it a 4.5-star rating felt forced.
❣️ It's even better than omakase I've had in Japan.
❣️ Even if there's a wait, I wait anyway.
Today, I reviewed my truly favorite sushi restaurant.
It's seriously better than any omakase I've had in Japan.
I don't know how every single sushi is so delicious.
I can't go to any other sushi restaurant after discovering this place...
That's it for my personally-paid-for, absolute-favorite sushi restaurant introduction.
