I chose Yukgyeol's main branch in Jongno, which has been frequently appearing in searches as a great Gukbap (rice soup) restaurant near Jonggak Station. ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
This place uses thin rice noodles, making it easy to digest and not too heavy. It's a Gukbap restaurant near Jonggak Station that's enjoyed by people of all ages.
Apparently, they use both the first and second floors!?
We went in right when they opened and took some pictures inside. Then we went up to the second floor, and there was a private space available, so we quietly settled in. ㅎㅎ
Yukgyeol's signature Gukbap highlights the unique flavor of pork while maintaining a clean and light broth without any unpleasant smell.
It's delicious as is, but if you want to enjoy it even more, you can customize it to your liking with various sauces like the special fish sauce or spicy chili powder.
Everything came out together, so I took a picture! It's a set menu, and it's quite diverse, right?
The diverse menu is another advantage of Yukgyeol!
Besides Gukbap, they also offer various other dishes and side dishes, so you have many options to choose from.
It's a place that suits pretty much anyone, so I highly recommend it as a Gukbap restaurant near Jonggak Station. ㅎㅎ
The main dishes aren't too strong, but the taste is so memorable once you try it!
I think people keep coming back to Yukgyeol near Jonggak Station because of the rich broth and the tender meat topping.
Especially since you can choose between rice and noodles.
Being able to choose rice noodles makes it easy on the stomach, and the broth and meat go perfectly together.
The restaurant's atmosphere is modern with a cafe-like vibe.
The soft beige-toned interior creates a calming atmosphere, and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and service.
And you HAVE to try the chilled pork slices and the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)!
The chilled pork slices are tender and chewy, and they go so well with the salted and fermented sand lance sauce.
I especially kept reaching for the tteokbokki - I think it was my favorite.
All the dishes have pork in them, so they're extra savory. ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
It feels like eating Korean food, so the side dishes are great, and all the dishes are delicious, right? 힣
Yukgyeol is a Gukbap restaurant near Jonggak Station that I can recommend to nearby office workers, families, friends, and couples.
Especially with the light, thin noodles, clean broth, customizable sauce combinations, and diverse menu, I want to visit again and again.
It looks even more delicious in the video, so I'll show you again. 힣
The location is near Cheonggyecheon, between Jonggak Station and Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station, so it's easy to get to from anywhere. I highly recommend it~~
