A relatively new restaurant!
I visited Mi Gomtang because I wanted a bowl of warm soup on a suddenly chilly day.
Mi Gomtang specializes in Gomtang (beef bone soup), but the menu was surprisingly diverse.
The signature dishes are Clear Gomtang and Hangover Gomtang! They also offer Makguksu (buckwheat noodles), cockle bibimbap, and sides like Suyuk (boiled beef slices) and fried dumplings.
I ordered the Clear Gomtang and Fried Dumplings.
The prices are quite reasonable for Gomtang in the heart of Gangnam!
The side dishes included radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, and salted seafood, which was deliciously sweet and salty.
The saltiness was just right, and it paired well with the Gomtang.
The Clear Gomtang looked more appetizing and luxurious than I expected!
My companion and I were impressed even before tasting it.
It was generously filled with Korean beef head meat, brisket, and flank steak.
The portion size was really large, and rice was already added to the soup!
Even though it's Gomtang, the broth wasn't milky but clear.
It was clean, savory, and had a deep, rich flavor.
The meat was all tender and not chewy, and each bite was full of savory flavor.
The Fried Dumplings we ordered were also a success!
They were large and filled with stuffing, and the outside was crispy, making the texture really great overall.
Despite being fried dumplings, they were savory and went well with the Gomtang.
I recommend the side menu!
