Makguksu and a Disappointing Pork Dish at Mmemillo43 near Namhansanseong Fortress

Hi everyone, it's Gyumdoongdoong and the kids :)
Today, after a long time, we went hiking at Namhansanseong Fortress!!
Was it a stroll or a hike...?
We made a proper loop around the fortress!
Phew, anyway, we were sooooo hungry lol
We visited Memillo43.
Address: 43 Namhansanseong-ro, Namhansanseong-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do
They're open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Last Order at 7:30 PM). Closed every Tuesday.
There's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, so you can park comfortably and enjoy your meal!!
The interior space is separated into an inner area and the main hall.
There are many tables in the inner area as well.
We arrived around 11:40 AM...
It gradually became crowded, and when we were leaving, there was a wait!
Their main dishes are Makguksu (buckwheat noodles)!
They have:
Water Makguksu
Bibim Makguksu (Spicy Mixed Makguksu)
Perilla Oil Makguksu
Cod Roe Makguksu
Buckwheat Potato Pancake
Buckwheat Crepe
Seasoned Cod Roe
Steamed Buckwheat Dumplings
As seasonal menu, they have Potato Ongsimi and Beef Bone Broth Buckwheat Noodle Soup!
We ordered Bibim Makguksu, Cod Roe Makguksu, and a small portion of Suyuk (boiled pork slices).
The Suyuk was a bit disappointing!!
Even though it was a small portion... the amount was just... not enough.
It was embarrassingly small.
I don't recommend this...!!!
We almost ordered the set menu, but thought the Suyuk might be too little, so we ordered individual dishes instead... sigh.
Cod Roe Makguksu and Bibim Makguksu!
The sauce seems to be the same, the only difference is whether or not it contains cod roe....!
Bibim is ₩9,000 / Cod Roe is ₩12,000
Hmm.
Still, eating Makguksu with Suyuk was a harmonious and great combination!!
The meeting of meat and noodles is always the best.
Anyway... Suyuk and Makguksu are an inseparable combination.
When leaving, I saw buckwheat-related snacks and ingredients.
If you want to buy them, go for it.
The Makguksu was delicious, but the amount of Suyuk was a bit disappointing.
And the broth that came with the Makguksu...!
Hmm...? It's unique, try it once...
(I only took one sip and put it down... tastes may vary...!)
Among the Makguksu restaurants in Namhansanseong~~
It was a random choice, and it was really random...
