Ma Cocotte: A New Chicken Pub at Shilla Monogram Gangneung, Operated by Terarosa!

Today, I'm posting about Ma Cocotte, a chicken pub located in Shilla Monogram Gangneung.
MA COCOTTE is on the first floor of the Shilla Monogram complex cultural food hall.
When you think of Gangneung coffee, Terarosa probably comes to mind.
Ma Cocotte is said to be a chicken pub operated by Terarosa!
Since it was the first day of opening, there seemed to be many tourists and acquaintances of the owner visiting.
I also visited quickly with my acquaintances.

Parking is free for the month of August.
Many people might mistakenly go to the Shilla Monogram or Resident's underground parking, so I'm writing this.
The complex cultural food hall is located opposite the Resident's building, and you can use the above-ground parking lot.
If you enter through the Resident's entrance instead of the hotel entrance, you'll see the entrance to the above-ground parking lot immediately to your right!

You can see it occupying a large space on the first floor.
The exterior had a simple yet colorful and stylish interior, befitting a chicken pub.
Outdoor seating is also visible.
And there seemed to be many seats. There are approximately 10 tables prepared for 4 people.
With the hot summer passing and autumn approaching, it's the perfect time to eat chicken!
Interior
Like a chicken pub, music is playing and various liquors are visible.
Those who like alcohol will love it, right?
The atmosphere is very nice, and the high ceiling makes the interior feel more open and magnificent, which I liked.
And most of all, since it's a new store, it's clean and great!

Last order was at 10 PM, but fortunately, we ordered just before that. Phew~

Other menu items that caught my eye included East Sea Octopus Carpaccio, Snow Crab Cream Gratin, Squid and Ink Taco Platter, Chodang Tofu Hummus Green Salad, Summer Burrata, Truffle Fries, and Ma Cocotte Cucumber Salad.
Next time, I'll order other menu items and post about them!
And you can't have chicken without draft beer!
Ma Cocotte has a selection of 9 types of beer, which is great.
Ma Cocotte Ordered Food
First, we started with a refreshing draft beer to beat the summer heat!
Peroni (Italy) - ₩8,000
Heineken (Netherlands) x 2 - ₩9,000 x 2 = ₩18,000
Personally, I was very disappointed that my favorite Kirin Ichiban was sold out. ㅜ ㅜ

You can see the color difference in the middle, right?
Made with the finest corn from Peroni's exclusive farms in northern Italy, it has a unique clean and refreshing taste.
It's not widely seen in Korea, but I first learned about it at Itaewon's Otti Gelly on Sung Si-kyung's "Eating Trip."
I never thought I'd taste it in Gangneung!
Heineken, a Dutch beer, is characterized by its bitterness and clean aftertaste.
At one time, Heineken Draught Kegs were popular for being able to enjoy draft beer at home, making it a cost-effective beer!
It's just my personal taste, but I think it tastes above average compared to domestic brands!
Original Fried & House Made Trio Sauce
Actually, I ordered Ma Cocotte's signature menu item, Lavender Honey Spice Chicken, but it came out wrong!!! lol
However, since it was the first day of opening and I was trying it for the first time, I thought it was correct and ate it diligently...
I ate outside, but the photos didn't come out well, so I only took photos at the indoor table. lol

If you see these photos at night, you'll immediately crave late-night snacks.
Even just looking at the photos, the crispy batter catches your eye.
When I actually ate it, it was crispy, and it was the first time in a while that I had tasted proper chicken.
Wedge potatoes are also mixed in, which is very attractive!!! I feel so good!!
And 3 types of sauces are prepared.
From left to right, there are cheese, barbecue, and salsa herb sauces.
It's good to eat them separately, and it's also delicious to blend the sauces together.

The chef's special chili oil sauce and spicy batter are an attractive combination!!!
This place is definitely a Gangneung chicken 맛집 (delicious restaurant)!!
Even though it's the first day of opening, this is a great success!!
There are also wedge potatoes here, which is good!!!
It says it's a spicy combination, but it's not very spicy, so I felt it would be better if it was a little spicier.
But it's still a delicious and foolproof ingredient, right??!!
Actually, I'm not good with spicy food... so it was just the right amount of spiciness and delicious for my taste!!
Gangneung Monogram Ma Cocotte Overall Review
As much as Shilla Monogram Gangneung is hot, there have been many issues, but I felt that it was quickly settling down.
People seemed to be visiting a lot, and I noticed restaurants that had just opened.
I visited a chicken pub operated by Terarosa at the complex cultural food hall with my acquaintances.
It must have been difficult to prepare for the first day of opening, but it was a successful opening with delicious food!!!
And my acquaintances introduced me to Sushi Tsukiyo and Kappo Tsukiyo the most, and the reviews they gave me were all good and the food was delicious.
They strongly recommended them as restaurants to go to.
It seems that a sushi omakase and eel rice bowl 맛집 (delicious restaurant) has opened in Gangneung, so it will be popular.
Next time, I'll visit those two places and write a post!
