Luha Table: A Blue Ribbon Italian Dining Experience Near Doan Lake Park in Daejeon

Luha Table: A Daejeon Restaurant in Wonshinheung-dong Listed in the Blue Ribbon Survey
An Italian restaurant located near Doan Lake Park.
Authentic dishes prepared by an owner chef with local experience.
Convenient to visit with ample parking.
Recently, on a weekday,
I decided to have dinner with my child and
visited 'Luha Table'
located in Wonshinheung-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
This place, where the owner chef, who has been cooking Italian food for over 10 years,
showcases a variety of gourmet experiences based on his local experience,
is a recognized restaurant that was
also listed in the 2025 Blue Ribbon Survey.
The restaurant has a high ceiling and a cozy atmosphere.
I was guided to a window seat with an open view and
looked at what would be good for the dinner menu.
Here's what I ordered at 'Luha Table',
near Doan Lake Park, in Wonshinheung-dong, Daejeon:
1. Caesar Salad (₩21,000)
2. Squid Ink Risotto (₩24,000)
3. Patata Pizza (₩23,000)
4. Soft Drinks (₩3,500) x 2
Complimentary bread and pickles are served as a starter.
*The pickles are originally served together in one place,
but since I went with my child, they served the spicy jalapeños separately.
I was touched by their thoughtful consideration...
Ice cream and honey pear tea were served for dessert.
Tasting three dishes at a Blue Ribbon-listed restaurant in Wonshinheung-dong, Daejeon.
Starter Bread
The squid ink bread came out warm
and was fluffy and delicious.
They make everything themselves, including the bread...
Caesar Salad
It comes with sous vide chicken breast, mini cos lettuce,
walnut crunch, egg, and a large half-moon-shaped bread baked in a wood-fired oven.
The salad had a sophisticated savory flavor,
and the sweet and crunchy walnuts made it
diverse and not boring!
I quickly cut the uniquely shaped bread.
It was puffed up inside like this,
chewy, savory, and delicious.
It's also good to fill the bread and eat it like a sandwich!
This wasn't just a simple salad,
it was a hearty dish with a balanced mix of carbs, protein, and fat.
Squid Ink Risotto
Made with their own squid ink sauce recipe,
a whole squid is placed on top,
with fried kadaif noodles underneath.
Each grain of rice had a great texture,
and the rich, savory sauce was also luxurious!
The crispy kadaif noodles
added to the fun of chewing,
and it was by far the best squid ink risotto I've ever had.
Patata Pizza
The pizza had such beautiful colors.
It's topped with baby potatoes, smoked cheese, Grana Padano,
sliced mozzarella, and bacon...
and finished with truffle oil,
which stimulates the nose with its fragrant aroma first.
Since it contained three types of cheese,
the charm of each cheese blended in diverse ways,
allowing me to experience a luxurious savory flavor.
Moreover, the fluffy baby potatoes and
soft bacon...
It was truly a 'hybrid' potato pizza,
and a good menu for eating with my child.
Exterior/Interior of 'Luha Table' near Doan Lake Park in Wonshinheung-dong, Daejeon
With ample parking spaces (3 spots) available,
it's an Italian restaurant that you can visit without any burden.
It's a place that was listed in this year's Blue Ribbon Survey,
and after tasting the food, I could fully understand why.
What caught my eye first upon entering was
the basil growing cutely in a cluster!
It was impressive to see them grow their own.
Moreover, they use Korean Hanwoo grade 1++ NO.9 beef for steaks,
using only the highest quality ingredients for everything.
In a cozy atmosphere, I was able to
relax and chat while dining with good music.
They also have a wide variety of wines,
making it a great place to come for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries!
*Corkage is free for one bottle per person.
I was satisfied in every way,
so I think I'll be revisiting soon.
That was my review
of having dinner with my child
at 'Luha Table', listed in the Blue Ribbon Survey,
near Doan Lake Park in Wonshinheung-dong, Daejeon.
