Grilled assorted pork offal served at Jang's Offal in Chungmu-dong Busan

This post is a passionate revisit review of Jang's Offal, a highly sought-after grilled offal restaurant hidden inside Chungmu Market in Busan.

With an intimate seven-seat bar, unlimited refills, and expertly grilled pork offal prepared right in front of you, the experience feels personal and unforgettable.

From reservation tips to must-try cuts and perfect soju pairings, this is a place that leaves a lasting impression on any offal lover.

A Place That Brings You Back to Busan

I honestly said, “I won’t go anywhere else for beef intestines anymore.”

That’s how strong my memory of this place was. After visiting Busan once, I ended up planning another trip just to eat here again.

Jang's Offal is a specialty grilled offal restaurant located in Chungmu-dong, Seo-gu, Busan, quietly tucked inside Chungmu Market.

I truly cherish places like this and wanted more people to experience it, so here I am sharing it.

Location, Hours, and Reservation Tips

The restaurant is located on the first floor at 40 Chungmu Market Street, Seo-gu, Busan.

It operates daily from 18:00 to 24:00, but reservations are essential and must be made by phone.

On weekdays, dinner reservations are available at 18:00, 20:00, and 22:00, while weekends offer slots at 17:00, 19:00, and 21:00.

We managed to secure a Saturday 19:00 slot by calling on the same day, but it was a close call.

I strongly recommend booking in advance if possible.

Important Notes Before Visiting

Parking is not available, and at least one bottle of alcohol per group is required.

Business hours may change, so checking their Instagram before visiting is a good idea.

Jang's Offal is truly a hidden gem inside Chungmu Market.

Small Space, Big Personality

The interior was much cozier than I expected.

The seating consists of a single ㄱ-shaped bar table, and the maximum capacity is just seven people.

During our visit, all seven seats were reserved, making the atmosphere feel intimate and lively.

Drinks, water, wet wipes, and even instant noodles are available for self-service.

Pricing and What We Ordered

The price is 13,000 KRW per person for unlimited refills, though it is scheduled to increase to 15,000 KRW soon.

The owner mentioned the price was still 13,000 KRW because the updated banners hadn’t arrived yet, which felt like a lucky bonus.

Our order included unlimited refills for two people, added whole garlic, added cup noodles, and four bottles of soju.

The total came to 46,000 KRW, which felt like an incredible deal.

Expertly Grilled Offal, One Cut at a Time

When you order, the owner prepares multiple dipping sauces such as curry, soy sauce, garlic oil, and onion sauce.

Each cut of meat is beautifully arranged per group, creating a visual experience you rarely find elsewhere.

The owner cuts everything into perfect bite-sized pieces and grills it right in front of you.

This ensures every bite is enjoyed hot and fresh.

Highlights from the Grill

The first cut served was pork tongue, chewy and flavorful, especially when dipped in sesame oil.

Next came the pork uldae, with a surprisingly soft bone that was easy to chew.

The yutong reminded me of pork jowl with a slightly chewy texture.

Dorae-chang had a texture similar to beef intestines and was deeply satisfying.

My personal favorite was the esophagus, rich in flavor, chewy yet mild.

The fresh pork skin felt lean and collagen-rich, and the pork odreki was tender and not tough at all.

Unlimited Refills and Perfect Soju Pairing

You can request refills of the cuts you like most, and yes, it’s truly unlimited.

The husband loved the dorae-chang and yutong, while I kept going back for the esophagus.

Every bite paired perfectly with soju, making it dangerously enjoyable.

Ending with Comfort Food

To finish the meal, we ordered cup noodles.

They offer two options: spicy beef soup and kimchi beef soup.

I asked the owner to add extra chili for more heat, and it was the perfect way to end the night.

The carbs were impossible to resist.

Why Jang's Offal Is a Must-Visit

This place is a must for anyone who truly enjoys offal.

If you ever find yourself in Busan, I can confidently say Jang's Offal is worth planning your trip around.

It’s a place you won’t regret visiting.
