Impulsive Jeju Island Trip with a Friend: Food, Scenery, and Serenity
Visit Dates: May 7-9, 2025
Today, my friend and I spontaneously decided to celebrate our successful job searches with a pre-employment trip to Jeju Island!!
Taking a dawn flight... because that's what spontaneous people do! LOL
You never know what us 'P' types will do next! 😉
Let the walking tour begin! 〰️〰️✨
Arriving in Jeju in the morning, we searched for a local-style Jeju meal and found a great place!!
We took a bus from the airport to Aewol.✨
We visited 『Jeju Halmang Babsang Aewol』!
It's a grilled fish restaurant, and we ordered two meals. Such a hearty spread! 〰️〰️
They had various kinds of fish, but I didn't know what they all were. I just ate them because they were so delicious!!
If you like grilled fish, you should definitely go! Seriously!

After eating, we hopped on another bus to a cafe I really wanted to visit!!
I love all things green, and this place was perfect!💚
This is the 『Ikki Forest SoGil』 Cafe.
It's a little difficult to get to by walking (the uphill climb is intense...).
The building is very large and beautiful!!!!
I want to open a cafe like this someday and live there...
After ordering inside, you can go to the moss forest in the back!
It's perfect for taking pictures and just enjoying the scenery. 😍
A child was blowing bubbles, and it was so pretty that I took a picture.
Even if you just snap a photo, the forest is so pretty that everything turns out like a work of art.
I didn't used to like flowers that much, but as I get older, I want to take pretty pictures of them. LOL
The drinks were decent, and the desserts were so-so!
But I would go back just for the forest. 😍
Ikki Forest SoGil Cafe

Since we're not the type to stay still, we moved on to another cafe! This time for brunch!!
I'm starting to wonder if this trip is just about eating... 🤔
The cafe we originally wanted to go to was closed... (A mistake on our part as 'P's)
So we quickly found 『Amandine Table』.
This place is known for its brunch!
They even have food for the neighborhood cats! 🥺
The interior of the cafe was so pretty!!
I was too busy looking around to order food. 🤣
They decorated it so nicely! I wish this brunch cafe was in front of my house... I'd go every day...
After looking around for a while, our food came out!
We ordered the Garlic Shrimp Oil Pasta and the Brioche French Toast!
It was so delicious!!! You really have to try it... seriously..
Especially the pasta! It's the best, the best!!!!!!
Amandine Table Cafe

We spent time chatting and relaxing, and then headed towards our accommodation.
We have to take the bus for a long time again... let's brace ourselves!
Everything looked so pretty to me as we passed by, so I took lots of pictures. What do you think? Pretty, right?
They even have Hallabong oranges on the street?! So cute!!
After a long bus ride and a walk uphill, we arrived at our accommodation, and we chose so well!! I love it so much! 😍😍😍😍
I loved how pretty the accommodation was!!!
After unpacking, we went to Hyeopjae Beach near our accommodation to see the ocean and get some meat nearby~
I took a cute photo and enjoyed the beach to my heart's content!!!
The combination of black and sky blue was so beautiful... 🥺
The sunlight shimmering on the water was so pretty... I just spaced out staring at the sea!!!
After that, we ate delicious black pork and had a second round of drinks at our accommodation, chatting seriously with my friend and wrapping up the day. 〰️
