Located near Magongnaru Station, Hogamdang's Magok branch is a well-known restaurant among office workers.

During lunchtime, you'll see many people dining alone, and in the evenings, you'll often spot groups having company dinners.

Its proximity to many offices makes it a popular destination for workers throughout the day.

The building has parking space, which is very convenient for those who drive. The interior is spacious, bright, and clean, making it a comfortable place for anyone to enjoy a meal.

The interior has a modern and simple design, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Large glass windows let in plenty of sunlight, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you can dine comfortably alone, in pairs, or in larger groups.

Seating ranges from tables for two to tables for four, and there are also seats along the wall, which are perfect for solo diners.

There's a self-serve side dish corner, so you can add more of your favorite sides as you like.

The biggest charm of Hogamdang is its delicious Korean set meals (Baekban). I ordered the stir-fried pork (Jeyuk Bokkeum) Baekban, and from the visuals alone, you could tell it was going to be good. The generous portions of meat and side dishes were satisfying even before I started eating.

The stir-fried pork is characterized by a savory-sweet gochujang-based sauce. The spiciness is medium, and the subtle smoky flavor from the direct fire cooking adds to its appeal.

The pork is thinly sliced pork belly, with just the right amount of fat removed, making it not too greasy and wonderfully savory.

It's a true rice thief when eaten with rice!

It also comes with a variety of side dishes such as soybean paste stew (Doenjang Jjigae), braised fern, and seaweed stem, making for a filling meal. The soybean paste stew itself was so good that I finished the whole bowl quickly.

The pork used at Hogamdang has a good ratio of fat to lean meat, making it tender and juicy.

Hopeful Tomorrow

The stir-fried pork also uses this high-quality meat, so it's savory and not greasy, making it even more delicious.

One side of the restaurant has a self-serve side dish refill corner, so you can freely add any side dishes you want. This is convenient and makes for a more satisfying meal.

Interesting Image

The spiciness is at a level that's enjoyable for everyone, and the smoky flavor really enhances the taste.

Finally, I'd also like to recommend Hogamdang's Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu).

As the name 'Tiger Pork Cutlet' suggests, a thick-cut pork loin cutlet is fried to a crispy perfection. The batter is thin and crispy, and there's no hint of greasy smell.

Warm Memories

The meat is also tender and juicy.

It's a style that kids will love. The demi-glace sauce has a sweet flavor that's especially popular with children.

The basic side dishes are the same as those provided with the stir-fried pork, making it an appealing menu item where you can enjoy Korean food and pork cutlet at the same time.

Dreamlike Moment

Hogamdang Magok is a place where anyone can be satisfied with its delicious food, clean interior, convenient location, and diverse menu.

If you want a proper meal or if office workers are looking for a quick and delicious food option, Hogamdang is a great choice.
