Heukryong: A 24/7 Chinese Restaurant Near Cheonan Terminal with Great Food and Service

Hello neighbors!
I recently visited Heukryong, a Chinese restaurant, and I wanted to share my experience because it was so delicious. Heukryong is located about a 5-7 minute walk from Cheonan Terminal, Shinsegae Department Store, and the post office.
Parking is available on the roadside in front of the restaurant. The interior is brightly lit and clean, making it a safe and comfortable place to dine, even late at night.
They have a variety of seating options, from tables for two to four people to group seating. The open kitchen allows you to see the cooking process, which I found very hygienic.
Each table has a menu for easy ordering. Heukryong, located near Cheonan Terminal, is known for its delicious Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup).
The menu is quite extensive compared to other places, with daily specials and set menus, making it easy to choose something you'll enjoy. They also offer a discount for cash payments.
The self-service bar offers unlimited pickled radish, onions, peppers, and sauces.
Most tables are for two to four people, and the spacing between tables is adequate, so you can enjoy your meal without feeling crowded.

Overall, the interior features a clean design with white tones and a pop of red, creating a unique Chinese restaurant atmosphere.
I ordered the fried rice, Jjamppong bap (Jjamppong with rice), and a small order of Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). I was surprised at how quickly the food arrived!

Here are my thoughts on each dish:
Fried Rice with Jjamppong Broth

Jjamppong Bap
The portion of rice in the Jjamppong bap was very generous. The rich, red broth was full of seafood flavor, with plenty of squid, mussels, wood ear mushrooms, and bean sprouts. The refreshing and spicy broth paired perfectly with the rice. Mixing the rice into the soup made the deep flavor even more intense.

Fried Rice
The rice was topped with a fluffy omelet and crunchy vegetables, and served with a side of black bean sauce (Jjajang). The savory egg and the sweet and savory black bean sauce created a delicious and balanced flavor. They also gave a lot of Jjajang sauce.

Tangsuyuk (Small)
The small order of Tangsuyuk was plenty! The crispy fried pork was topped with a sweet and sour sauce. The pork was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce with onions and vegetables was refreshing and not greasy.

The restaurant was clean and the tables were spaced far enough apart to allow for a comfortable dining experience. The large menu made ordering easy. If you're craving Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk near Cheonan Terminal, I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.
Because it's open 24 hours a day, you can go anytime without being restricted by time. I highly recommend it as a delicious restaurant with generous portions.
