During a recent group trip to Jeongseon with colleagues, we had the pleasure of visiting Hwangso Sikyuk Silbi Sikdang Hanwoo High1, a restaurant I had researched beforehand as a must-try in Jeongseon. Known for its delicious food and operating 24/7, 365 days a year with excellent accessibility, it proved to be the perfect choice for a large group.

While the restaurant itself is cozy, the interior was clean, well-organized, and the staff greeted us warmly, setting a positive tone for our meal. Even with a large group, the ample parking space made our visit hassle-free.

We ordered Hanwoo sirloin and short rib, and the exceptional marbling and quality of the meat satisfied everyone in our group. The thickness was just right, and the meat wasn't tough, making it easy to eat. The side dishes, including bracken, scallion salad, and zucchini salad, which were provided while we grilled our meat, were fresh and delicious, truly showcasing Jeongseon's culinary excellence.

The meal options were also fantastic. The Yukhoe Bibimbap (Korean Beef Tartare Rice Bowl) was a harmonious blend of fresh beef tartare and vegetables. The Beef Radish Soup (Sogogi Muguk) boasted a clear, deep broth that was exceptional, and the Galbitang (Beef Rib Soup) offered a rich, savory flavor and generous amount of meat, which was perfect for our group. Finally, the Naengmyeon (cold noodles) was refreshing and clean, making it an ideal accompaniment to the grilled meat.

Hwangso Sikyuk Silbi Sikdang Hanwoo High1 truly lived up to its reputation as a top restaurant in Jeongseon, excelling in hygiene, food quality, staff service, and value for money. We could particularly appreciate the natural flavor and freshness of the meat, along with the thoughtfully prepared side dishes, making it an ideal spot for group trips or family gatherings. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we definitely plan to return.
