Hello, I'm Ttosul!
I heard that Hansabal Pocha, which is super popular on social media these days, has opened a branch in Yangjae. So, I quickly went to check it out!
Let me introduce Hansabal Pocha in Yangjae, a bar that has it all: great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service!

Hansabal Pocha Yangjae is located near Yangjae Station, making it easily accessible.
Come out of Yangjae Station Exit 4 and head into the alley where Mega Coffee or Olive Young is located.
You can easily find it next to the GS convenience store.
Its location near the station is a big plus.
It's so convenient to meet up with friends or head home when it's close to the station, right?

Interior
I rushed over right after work, and there were already many people there.
Pochas are often noisy and chaotic, but Hansabal Pocha feels like a trendy indoor pub that anyone can enjoy without feeling overwhelmed!
You can make reservations for group gatherings and even rent the entire venue in advance.

The pocha tables and chairs are perfect for sitting around, chatting, and enjoying drinks.
You can store your belongings inside the chairs.
The restrooms aren't located inside the restaurant, but you can use the building's restrooms. (Don't worry, they're clean!)
There's no physical menu. Instead, there's a QR code on each table.
Simply scan it with your camera to access the menu.
Sometimes, when a place is crowded and busy, it's awkward to ring the bell or call a staff member.
But with the QR code, it's easy to order, which is convenient.
Menu
From hearty main dishes like Hansabal Pocha's signature braised spicy chicken stew (Dakdoritang) and Gopdoritang (곱도리탕, braised chicken and tripe stew) to sweet egg toast and Jja-Gye-Chi (짜계치, ramen with egg and cheese), the menu is really diverse.
It's a place where you can have a satisfying meal while enjoying drinks. So, I recommend it for both a first and second stop!

We ordered:
✔️ Boneless Tteok-doritang (떡도리탕, spicy braised chicken and rice cake stew)
✔️ Butter Garlic French Fries
And Soju and Beer...
I visited with one other female friend, and I regret not being able to order more dishes. ㅠ_ㅠ
Side Dishes & Main Menu
The basic side dishes are soft tofu, kimchi radish, and pickled radish slices, which are served in a Korean style. For a moment, I thought I was at a rice restaurant! lol

The Butter Garlic French Fries, a side menu item, came out first, and it's one of my personal favorites!!!
There are thick and long french fries and round fries (that you often see with Korean sweet and sour chicken).
And lots of sweet butter garlic sauce 🤤🤤🤤🤤
If you order Dakdoritang, be sure to order this. The combination is great!

I ordered the boneless Tteok-doritang for easy eating.
The portion sizes here are huge!
It was so filling that two women couldn't finish it, but it's reasonably priced at ₩29,000!

It's a perfect menu for both a side dish to go with drinks and a meal! ✨
While simmering the stew a little, we had a So-Maek (Soju + Beer) 🍻
It was really easy to eat because it was boneless, but the most important thing is that the sauce was incredible!
It was spicy, sweet, and addictive... 🤤
I really want to order it again next time.
With eggs, glass noodles, and cheese rice cakes, I was seriously eating it with a spoon. ^^ lol
I heard that adding knife-cut noodle (kal guksu) to this is amazing, so I'm going to try it next time.

Even though it was crowded and busy, the staff at Hansabal Pocha Yangjae responded quickly and the atmosphere was energetic, making it a pleasant drinking experience.
As expected, there's a reason why famous restaurants are famous!

If you're looking for a place near Yangjae Station where you can enjoy drinks and have a satisfying meal, I highly recommend Hansabal Pocha Yangjae! 👍👍
