Hangover Cure in Uijeongbu: Bo-young Restaurant's Budae-jjigae

Hello everyone!
I haven't been eating much lately due to dieting, so I haven't taken many pictures. But I have a lot of pictures from before, so I'm diligently uploading those... Hehe.
I went to Seoul with my friends on the weekend and had them stay over at my place.
Now, when you think of Uijeongbu, you think of Budae-jjigae (Korean army stew)!
We cured our hangovers with Budae-jjigae. Haha.
Bo-young Restaurant is located on the main street of Budae-jjigae Alley, as you can see.
Since we went during lunchtime, we waited for about 1 minute before getting in.
It was crowded since it was lunchtime!
The Budae-jjigae was ₩12,000.
In front of my house, it's ₩10,000 per person... so it was ₩2,000 more expensive!
Side dishes are served as a standard.
Interestingly, they gave us rice cakes here.
The rice cake was JMT (존맛탱 - slang for 'delicious')!
Usually, water is served in a plastic bottle, and the kettle contains Budae-jjigae broth, right...?
Here, it was the opposite! I almost chugged the broth by mistake...
The waiting time...
I still remember wanting to open the lid so badly at that time.
....Because I was so hungry...
Doesn't it look delicious?
I opened it, took pictures right away, and ate it... Haha.
Maybe because I had been drinking, I devoured it very quickly. Hehe.
Completely finished the bowl...
I've been to about 3 places in the Budae-jjigae street, and one place was really bad, but this place was delicious. Haha.
If I had to pick one ingredient that I like in Budae-jjigae, it's the sausage.
The sausage was really salty and not very good.
But it's the most famous place...
What do Koreans do after eating? Coffee, of course!
What's also great about this place is that...
This is a picture I got from Naver.
They had a free coffee vending machine like this.
You might think that these places only have hot coffee, but...
They also have iced coffee! It's great that it even dispenses ice.
So I had two cups in total: an iced Americano before the meal and an iced milk coffee after the meal. Haha.
The dessert coffee was also good.
(The iced milk coffee was a little bland... I wanted something sweet, but...
This is a Budae-jjigae restaurant, not a coffee shop. Haha.)

So I was thinking, I said earlier that it was ₩2,000 more expensive than the place in front of my house, right?
I think the ₩2,000 extra might be because of the coffee vending machine. Haha.

Anyway, it was a satisfying meal. Haha.
One-line review: I paid ₩2,000 more, but the iced milk coffee and memories made it a worthwhile meal.

I only need to write one more post to complete 100 posts! I'm kind of excited. Haha.
