Hanam Pig House: Perfectly Grilled Pork, From Pre-Grilling to Plate Temperature

Perfectly grilled pork, from the initial grilling to the temperature of the grill plate.
Hello everyone, this is Blo-Gyu.
After the heavy rain, the weather has turned incredibly cold. I think you could catch a cold even if you sleep with just a fan on...
Be careful not to catch a cold!!
Provided photos
Personally, I lived here from birth through elementary, middle, and high school, and until the early years of my marriage. While Starfield might be the most famous thing in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas,
I think this place is what made the name "Hanam" known nationwide!
Hanam Pig House, which first opened in June 2010,
Expanded its main store to a larger location in Changu-dong on June 5, 2012, just two years later. As far as I know, that location used to be a garden restaurant.
The current main store is located across from Costco in Pungsan-dong. Today, I'm posting about this place.
Operating Hours and Location
Operating Hours:
Everyday 12:00 PM ~ 11:00 PM
Break Time 3:00 PM ~ 4:30 PM
Last Order 10:00 PM
How to Get Here:
The parking lot is large, so you can search for Hanam Pig House on your navigation system. It's located across from Costco, so make sure you're in the correct lane!
Via Public Transportation:
It takes about 10 minutes on bus number 5 from Misa Station (Line 5).
Entering with my son, who was excited at the thought of pork belly!
It was so crowded and during peak time that I couldn't take pictures of the store!
However, I thought it would be possible to film in front of the pre-grilling room without disturbing other customers, as it's considered the staff area. So, I asked for permission from a staff member and filmed in front of the pre-grilling room!
The interior of the store is spacious and pleasant!!
What's on the Menu?
The meat menu is structured like this ~
The side menu is structured like this ~
You can enjoy the set menu configuration,
But we ordered 2 servings of pork belly, 1 serving of pork shoulder, 1 serving of pork skirt meat, steamed egg, and a mushroom assortment to suit our tastes.
(Secret: there are 3 of us including a child)
My child's favorite expanding wet wipes ~
These are the basic side dishes.
There's kimchi that's grilled on the grill plate.
And there's *myeongyi namul*, originally called wild garlic.
*Myeongyi namul* is
A plant that people in Ulleungdo used to climb the mountains to collect and eat when there was a shortage of food in winter, so they say it helps you live longer, which is why it's called *myeongyi namul*. That's what I heard when I worked in Ulleungdo for 2 years.
Perhaps that's why I was so happy to find Ulleungdo *myeongyi namul* here after quitting my job.

There's clean seasoned chives, *ssamjang*, garlic, and wasabi. The empty space is for making salt by grinding pink salt in a grinder and dipping it right away.
When the meat comes out, the staff brings it over, puts it on a stand, measures the temperature, and then cuts it piece by piece and arranges it neatly.
*Chik Chik* ~~ The steamed egg comes out before the meat is cooked ~
First, a piece of fully cooked pork belly and skirt meat with salt ~
Next, a piece neatly wrapped in *myeongyi namul* ~
Also, a piece wrapped in kimchi ~ and a piece with *ssam* ~
I'm so happy!!!
The staff also drizzled oil on the mushrooms and grilled them deliciously. For a chewy texture, we put them back on the grill plate.
Crispy enoki mushrooms complete!!
Originally, I should be eating *kimchi mari guksu* (kimchi noodle soup) or *naengmyeon* (cold noodles) at this timing...
But my child said their stomach wasn't feeling well, so we finished here and came home ㅠㅠ
It's a shame, but my child's condition comes first!
But that kid ate a whole bunch of Shine Muscat grapes when they got home.
Overall Review
It's difficult to say that this is the undisputed number one pork belly restaurant in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, but I think it's definitely in the top tier.

Even after several meat posts, my wife says this is the best restaurant. The reason is that she loves the grilled kimchi, *myeongyi namul*, and chives so much.
Thanks to that, whenever we go to Pig House, I always feel that the meat was delicious, and of course, that I had a well-eaten meal.
The owner of Hanam Pig House, which made Hanam known throughout the country with its pork belly, originally majored in marketing.
I don't know if it's because he succeeded in marketing, although the taste of the meat is also important, that he has now succeeded as one of the top 100 franchises with nearly 400 stores nationwide.
I enjoyed my meal today at Hanam Pig House, a pork belly restaurant in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province.
I will greet you with a review that will make you think you definitely have to go, with more carefully taken photos and videos of delicious food.
