Today, I'm introducing a seafood restaurant located in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon!
'Haemul Maru'!
This place, located near Namchuncheon Station, is famous for its clam hot pot and seafood stew.
You can taste fresh clams and seafood near Namchuncheon Station in Chuncheon without having to go to the beach!
I heard they recently remodeled, so I revisited after a long time to taste the cool and spicy clam hot pot.

Visited 'Haemul Maru' on a weekday evening.
Haemul Maru is located across from Chuncheon Namchuncheon Station. If you come straight through the alley towards the overpass.
For parking, you can use the surrounding alleyways.
Since it's a hot day, let's go inside right away!!
This place is already very famous among Chuncheon residents.
Despite visiting early in the evening, it was already fully booked with reservations.
We also visited after making a reservation. The interior of the store was much cleaner and more pleasant than before, perhaps because it had been remodeled.
There are many tables and the store is spacious, making it perfect for group gatherings or company dinners. Please keep that in mind!
Now it's time to choose the menu. We went straight for the clam hot pot without hesitation!!
Since there were 2 adults and 1 child, we ordered a small size and added a small rice ball for the child.
I sometimes order seafood stew for takeout, and their seafood stew is top-notch when I'm craving something spicy!
But today, I'm craving soup, so clam hot pot it is!
Also, seafood kalguksu (noodle soup) is sold as a lunch special for only 9,000 won, which is one of the highly recommended lunch menus in Toegye-dong!
The basic side dishes of Haemul Maru, which were prepared right after ordering.
The cho gochujang (vinegar-based chili sauce) and onion salad are served with the seafood from the clam hot pot.
It's great if you add the rest of the side dishes together!

They also generously add expensive abalone.
You can tell how fresh the abalone is just by looking at its color.
Clams include ark shells, mussels, and Manila clams.
They also add plenty of baby octopus!
And on the bottom of the clam hot pot, there are vegetables such as cabbage, bean sprouts, and radish.
It's also delicious when eaten with seafood!!
Eating it with vegetables gives it a shabu-shabu feel and makes it even better because it tastes healthy.

We didn't have to do anything, so it was very convenient and nice.
