I recently visited Gyotaku, a pub in Daldong, Ulsan, with my close friend.
The meaning of the restaurant's name was impressive; it means 'people crazy about gyoza.'
And the truly amazing thing is... gyoza is FREE?!

Gyotaku has tablets at each table, so you can order directly by touching the menu.
It's mandatory to order at least one main dish!
But after that, you can enjoy yourself freely.
I was surprised by the sheer variety of menu options.
What's more, on weekdays, all-you-can-drink alcohol is only ₩9,900 per person... is this for real?!

I really felt the authentic Japanese izakaya vibe.
I was so impressed, I wondered how the owner could even make a profit. Two beers and two plates of gyoza came out! We each had our own plate of gyoza. The gyoza are really delicious! Is this really free???????

Salmon Cubes – Gyotaku's popular menu item
There was a menu item I really wanted to try at Gyotaku this time.
That's the Salmon Cubes that became even hotter after being introduced by singer Kang Min-kyung on SNS and YouTube!
It's a menu where plump salmon is cut into large cubes like radish kimchi, mixed with flying fish roe, onions, and Gyotaku's special sauce.
The visuals are appetizing, and as soon as you take a bite, the flying fish roe bursts in your mouth, and the soft salmon fills your mouth with a burst of savory flavor.
You know Honey Butter Corn is always delicious, right?
Asahi Draft Beer
Asahi draft beer is so smooth and delicious!
It tasted similar to what I had in Japan :)
You must try the Asahi draft beer!
It was so delicious that I drank two glasses...
Japanese Izakaya Atmosphere

The interior, music, and menu were all like a direct transplant of a Japanese izakaya atmosphere.
There's also a counter seat :)
I would recommend it as a date spot in Ulsan Daldong, and the atmosphere is great even if you go with friends.
If you are looking for a Japanese-style pub in Ulsan Samsan or Daldong, I highly recommend it!
