Today, I met up with a friend who lives in Sinjeong Hometown and we decided to grab a bite nearby.

My friend recommended Gogi Noleteo, an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ place in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan, known for its great value and delicious food. So, I decided to give it a try.

Apparently, this is a favorite spot for my married friend, so I was excited to check it out!

Let me introduce you to Gogi Noleteo (Hyundai Hometown Branch), an all-you-can-eat meat paradise in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan.

Gogi Noleteo Hyundai Hometown Branch

Location: 2nd Floor, 50, Daeroam-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan

Hours: Weekdays 4:30 PM - 10:30 PM / Weekends 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

They offer group seating, reservations, a Tabling system, high chairs, and parking.

If a mom raising kids recommends a restaurant, you know it's trustworthy!

My friend raved about the taste, meat quality, and price, calling it a hidden gem in Sinjeong-dong. I had high expectations, and I must say, it lived up to them!

Exterior View & Reservations

Located in the heart of Hyundai Hometown, within the apartment complex's commercial building, it was easy to find.

Having just grand-opened in July, the place was noticeably clean and new.

The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and it was packed during dinner time.

To avoid waiting, I recommend making a reservation through Tabling.

Interior View

Interior Atmosphere

The interior mainly features tables for four, but they also have larger tables for groups, making it a great place for family dinners at an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan.

The restaurant is new and clean. The tables are spacious, which is perfect for people like me who like to load up their table with food.

Among the all-you-can-eat BBQ places in Ulsan, not many have such large and clean tables. I was very satisfied with the facilities, making it a great choice for a family outing with parents!

Playground

All-You-Can-Eat BBQ with a Playground in Ulsan

This all-you-can-eat BBQ place in Ulsan has a special playground! Thanks to that, I saw many families there.

My friend said that the playground is so appealing that she often comes here for family dinners with her kids.

With everything from trampolines to slides, it's like a mini-kids cafe with plenty of things to do, making it a space kids will love.

The age range for the playground is generous, so kids from kindergarten to elementary school can all play together. It's not just great for family dinners, but also perfect for moms' gatherings.

Menu

Menu

The all-you-can-eat option is ₩21,500 per adult, ₩14,500 per elementary school student, and ₩11,500 for children ages 6-7. It's cheaper than going to a kids' cafe!

These days, kids' cafe admission fees easily exceed ₩20,000-₩30,000, but at Gogi Noleteo, a delicious all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan, you can enjoy various cuts of pork at an affordable price.

They have various pork cuts such as Samgyeopsal (pork belly), Kkodul Moksal (chewy pork neck), Makchang (pork intestines), Donchadol (thinly sliced pork brisket), and pork ribs. You can order all of these through a tablet, which is very convenient.

Table Setting

Table Setting & Ordered Menu

The table setting includes everything that goes perfectly with meat, such as Pajjeori (scallion salad), Baek-kimchi (white kimchi), and pickled chili peppers. There are also fresh leafy greens and various sauces to enjoy.

If you need extra side dishes, you can order them through the tablet, which is very convenient.

Meat Quality

High-Quality All-You-Can-Eat BBQ in Sinjeong-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan

Honestly, when people think of all-you-can-eat, they often assume the quality isn't good. But this popular restaurant in Sinjeong-dong will change your mind.

Everyone knows the rule when ordering meat!

"Fresh - Seasoned - Fried Rice - Cold Noodles"

This is a famous saying by Lee Sung-kyung, the main character in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.

Start with fresh meat to grease the grill, finish with seasoned meat, and then add carbs with fried rice when you're feeling a bit empty. Finally, cleanse your palate with refreshing cold noodles!

I wanted to follow this rule as much as possible, so I started with Donchadol and Kkodul Moksal, which cook the fastest.

The trendy, round-cut Samgyeopsal was chewy and delicious.

The thinly sliced Donchadol was definitely more flavorful than the thicker cuts, which really hit the spot for me.

Next, the Kkodul Moksal, which uses the same high-quality meat as the famous Moksal (pork neck) BBQ, was incredibly tender despite being Moksal. The meat itself was so good that it was impossible to cook it badly!

The freshness and the juicy flavor of the meat paired perfectly with the leafy greens.

Eating it with homemade chili soy sauce was especially delicious, so I highly recommend that combination!

This is Samgyeopsal, and it's not too thin but has a thick, Ogyeopsal (pork belly with skin) like cut, making it very chewy. The slices had cuts allowing it to absorb juice, making it higher quality than some specialty Samgyeopsal restaurants!

Next, I ordered Makchang, which I love. They serve the same Makchang supplied to Byeongyeong, with no gamey smell and clean meat!

When I put it on the hot grill, it quickly turned golden brown. It was well-prepared so there was no gamey smell, only a savory aroma.

The Makchang was so big that it's worth visiting this all-you-can-eat BBQ place in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan, just for the Makchang!

They even have a sauce that goes perfectly with Makchang, so there's no reason not to eat it here! If you love Makchang, I highly recommend trying it (essential).

The finish is always seasoned meat! We were so full that we only ordered one serving of seasoned ribs, but the portion size was huge!

(I ended up ordering an extra two servings because it was so delicious!)

I like it when the marinade soaks well into the meat, and the seasoning was definitely well-absorbed, making it a great match with fluffy rice.

I always have to have Doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) with my meal, so I ordered the stew. The ingredients were plentiful, and the savory flavor was amazing!

With ingredients like crab, sea squirt, tofu, and zucchini, the Doenjang-jjigae was very satisfying.

I was torn between cold noodles and ramen, but when I heard that they offer free Han River ramen, I ordered it right away.

Besides ramen and rice, they also have various side dishes like cold noodles that pair perfectly with pork ribs, and Doenjang-jjigae, so you can finish your meal perfectly!

Gogi Noleteo takes care of both the children's fun with the playground and the adults' full bellies. It is a place where adults and children are happy, so I recommend visiting Gogi Noleteo, an all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant in Sinjeong-dong, Ulsan!

Parking

Location & Parking Information

Located between Hyundai Hometown and Sinseong Misozium, the building has both outdoor and underground parking available, making it easy to visit with children as a family.

To minimize waiting when visiting with children, it is recommended to make a reservation through Tabling for a faster visit!
