Found My New Favorite Chicken at Pocha Cheoreom in Guri!

Neither my husband nor I are big drinkers...^^
Nevertheless, we love visiting izakayas and pubs because there's always a place that serves delicious food!
This time, we visited Pocha Cheoreom's Guri Doldari branch, located inside the Guri Traditional Market.
In conclusion:
A really kind female owner,
And chicken that's even MORE delicious than at a chicken specialty restaurant.
These two things alone make it worth the visit!
I've found my life's chicken...

Parking Tip for Visiting Pocha Cheoreom, a Guri Chicken 맛집 (Delicious Restaurant)!
After my husband and I looked around, we found that the Guri Traditional Market's public parking lot is the cheapest!
It's also the best in terms of distance, as it's only a 5-minute walk away.
It looks clean on the outside, probably because it recently opened!
The inside is pleasant, too.
Some bars have a lot of cigarette smell, but Pocha Cheoreom in Guri is really clean and doesn't smell like cigarettes at all.
The interior is also decorated with a stylish pocha (street stall) vibe!

We visited at 6 PM, which was a little early, so there weren't any customers yet, but by the time we finished eating, there were two tables of 6-7 people in a group.
Especially since they allow pets here, there was a cute dog at the next table!
Pocha Cheoreom's menu!
Chicken seemed to be the main dish, and sure enough,
It was famous for its chicken to the point where people even ordered it for delivery!!
How delicious must the food be if people order snacks for delivery?!

The menu we ordered was:
Ggwari Chicken (Chicken with Shishito Peppers) - ₩19,000
Boneless Chicken Feet Stir-Fry - ₩16,000
Menbosha (Shrimp Toast) - ₩11,000
The prices are reasonable, and in an era where chicken costs over ₩20,000....
₩19,000 is a really, really reasonable price!
The basic side dishes are puffed rice crackers and fried eggs.
The fried eggs were really moist and salty and delicious!!
They even prepared one per person.
The yolk was moist and really delicious.

The first dish that came out was Menbosha!
Actually, I ordered it because I couldn't find any reviews of anyone eating it..haha
Mini and cute Menbosha.
It was more moist inside and crispy on the outside than I expected.
I've had Menbosha at Mokran before,
But Pocha Cheoreom's Menbosha is crispier!

The second dish that came out was Boneless Chicken Feet Stir-Fry.
I usually love pork rinds and chicken feet, so I was really 고민 (worried/thinking hard) because both were on the menu ㅠ
In the end, I chose the chicken feet, but first of all,
The cabbage that came out as a side was the real 킥 (kick/highlight)!!
It refreshes your mouth when you eat greasy things!
(The owner refilled it later, which made me happy...)

And inside, there weren't just chicken feet, but also carrots, onions, green onions, peppers, etc.
It was even more delicious because it was filled with vegetables.

Lastly, the Ggwari Chicken!!!
This is the main dish of this restaurant.
It's a dish of chicken with a soy sauce-based chicken sauce and stir-fried shishito peppers.
It's really... really... delicious.
I like Kyochon Chicken among soy sauce-based chicken, but

Chicken that's more delicious than Kyochon!
And how did you stir-fry the shishito peppers so well...ㅠㅠ
It's a place I want to come back to because of this.

My husband is sensitive to the smell of meat,
But he gave a thumbs up, saying that the chicken here is really tender without any gamey smell!!!

At first, I was worried about how we would eat all of this...
But everything was so delicious that we quickly cleaned it all up hahahaha

The owner also gave us pineapple sherbet.
(Naver Receipt Review Event in progress)
My husband said it was perfect for cleansing his palate and scraped the bottom clean hahahaha

We came out with our stomachs full!
Pocha Cheoreom, a Guri Doldari 맛집 (delicious restaurant) that seems like a great place to visit for the enjoyable atmosphere and delicious food, even if you don't come to drink.

Especially, make sure to eat the Ggwari Chicken with bones, not boneless ㅜㅜ It's really delicious...!!!!
