My Personal Experience
I was in the mood for burgers and fries when I suddenly thought of Five Guys.
I wanted fries, but the burger had to be delicious too.
Since I thought of Five Guys, I headed to the nearest location from my office.
It was nice to visit Seoul Station after a long time.
Crossing the street and going up the stairs towards Lotte Mart, you will find Five Guys.
Unlike the location in The Hyundai, which is always busy, the Seoul Station branch is relatively quiet.
I was worried about the lunch rush on a weekday, but thankfully there was no waiting.
I arrived around 11:30 AM.
As soon as I entered, I noticed that the entrance and exit are separated.
You must go through the entrance to place your order.
While waiting in line to order, there was an Instagram follow event.
If you follow their Instagram, you receive a sticker from Seoul Station.
(I skipped it because I was too lazy.)
While waiting, I looked at the menu to decide what to order.
There was a menu available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, making it easy for international visitors.
After ordering, I could help myself to peanuts, which were lightly salted and delicious.
I recommend taking just a little at a time since you can only snack before the burger arrives.
The Seoul Station branch is spacious compared to the location in The Hyundai, making it comfortable to dine in.
After ordering, I watched as many burgers were being prepared.
It was nice to see the open kitchen again after so long.
When you order at Five Guys, your order number is printed on the receipt.
There's no monitor displaying order numbers, so you wait at the counter for your food.
If customers don't come right away, the staff will announce the order number using a microphone.
When I ordered a drink, it came in a paper cup, and I could choose from the dispenser.
The self-service bar had ketchup, napkins, forks, knives, and wet wipes.
Even if the burger looks small, it's quite filling.
I love that you can customize your burger with various vegetables.
I prefer a burger loaded with veggies, so I added barbecue sauce and jalapeños.
Finally, my long-awaited fries arrived!
Five Guys fries are thick and satisfying.
Although there are Cajun fries, I opted for the regular ones since I like them better.
Even though a meal for one can be pricey, it’s worth it for an occasional treat.
