Experience Authentic Home-Style Cooking at This Yangsan Restaurant

I visited Chowon House, a popular restaurant near Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan, and I was looking forward to their special lunch set menu featuring barley rice.
With ample parking and easy accessibility, my anticipation grew for a picture-perfect dinner.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere! It felt like visiting my grandmother's house – so cozy and comforting. I already knew it would be a great experience before the food even arrived.
The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service despite being very busy. It was truly a delightful experience.
I was thrilled when the barley rice arrived, accompanied by a beautifully arranged assortment of side dishes. The sheer variety was impressive, and simply being seated at the table made me happy.
I had heard that their Hanwoo A++ grade beef was famous, and the taste of the meat lived up to the hype. It was savory and chewy with every bite.
Eating that delicious beef with the barley rice made for a simple yet satisfying meal. I noticed many groups of people dining there, and the ambiance made me want to visit again for dinner.
It was a taste that brought me joy.

While we waited for our food, the staff were busy setting up the side dishes, and it was fascinating to watch the preparation process.
Each side dish they served was generous and delicious. I heard they make their own soybean paste (doenjang), and the flavor was truly exceptional!
As a doenjang lover, I was tempted to buy some. Eating the barley rice with their homemade doenjang felt like tasting my mother's cooking.
Every dish made me want to eat more, and I left feeling completely satisfied. Next time, I plan to order even more items from the menu.
