I arrived at Eureka for an early dinner.
Eureka is a combination of "牛" (cow) and "Eureka," meaning "discovering a beef taste you've never experienced before."
It's located in the alley towards Baekil Kalguksu in Toegye-dong.
You can park in front of the store or in the surrounding alleys.
Eureka offers a wide variety of Korean beef cuts.
There's a menu board in front of the store, so you can check the types of beef and set menu options before entering.
Recently, they added a Uni (sea urchin) and sweet shrimp menu, which is said to be a fantastic combination with Korean beef!
Let's go inside.
The interior is clean and cozy.
In the main hall, there are about two tables along with the kitchen.
The private rooms are separated from each other.
I made a reservation in advance and was guided to a private room with one table.
There are also group seating options available.
Now, let's order.

I quickly browsed the menu on the tablet and found a variety of options, from Korean beef sets to side dishes!
The Uni and sweet shrimp special menu caught my eye. The combination of Korean beef and Uni sounds delicious.
We visited with 2 adults and 1 child, but the child had already eaten at home, so we ordered based on 2 adults.
I debated whether to get the Korean beef set for 2 or the more affordable set for 2, but ultimately chose the affordable set!
The 2-person set includes a selection of prime cuts.
Once you've decided what to order,
select the menu on the tablet and press order!!!
After ordering, very hot charcoal is brought out first.
They cover it for a while before placing the grill on top to increase the heat!
The side dishes were set on the table according to the reservation time.
The basic side dishes include well-aged kimchi, green onion kimchi, pickled peppers, perilla leaf salad, lettuce salad, etc.
It was all neatly and deliciously prepared.
Shortly after, the main menu arrived!

The marbling was so beautiful... The beef was glowing.
The 2-person set includes a curated selection of cuts.
All the cuts looked fresh.
With three delicious cuts, I was even more excited.
Let's start grilling!!!
First, I grilled the tender beef.
Of course, I added vegetables too, carefully placing each piece on the grill.
The color of the meat is amazing, right?
It looks so appetizing.
Now, flip it over to the other side...
Once it's cooked!!!!
Add wasabi, whole grain mustard, or top-quality Maldon salt to your liking and enjoy!!!
Wow, the tenderness is amazing. It melts in your mouth.
The quality of the meat is so good!
After being impressed by the beef, I immediately started grilling the ribs.
The ribs are what we commonly know as galbi (short ribs), and they have a rich, savory flavor...!!!
I tried eating it wrapped in well-aged kimchi, and it was crazy good.
The kimchi itself was so delicious that it enhanced the savory flavor of the ribs even more!
It was a fantastic combination.
Next up was the beef, which I was most looking forward to.
I saw a comment on the menu saying that it was the owner's favorite pick, and to just trust them and try it.
The color of the meat is perfect.
Compared to other cuts, it definitely had the most juice!
The aroma was great, and the texture was very tender!
There's a reason why the owner recommended it. It was delicious!!!
Oh! And the owner gave us a mushroom wasabi sauce as a service, which was another highlight.
It's so delicious when you put it on the meat.
The wasabi flavor is rich and goes so well with the meat.
And then, after eating some of the meat, I ordered the soybean paste stew ( 된장찌개 ).
It comes out boiling in a hot pot, and the aroma is incredible...!!!
It smelled delicious already.
I immediately took a spoonful, and the broth was rich and spicy.
It was totally my style!
I wanted to pour it over a bowl of rice right away, but my husband stopped me...ㅠㅠㅠ
I wanted to eat 된찌밥 (soybean paste stew with rice) ㅠㅠ
Even though I was full,
I kept eating it as a snack.
I finished with a last shot of soju and ended the meal feeling full and satisfied.
I enjoyed the meal today!!!
